Emirates StadiumSeating Guide: Where to Sit & Best Seats

Arsenal's Emirates Stadium (capacity 60,704) is a four-tier bowl in north London. From the pitch up: the Lower Tier (blocks 1–32), the premium Club Level (blocks 41–84), a Box Level of executive boxes, and the Upper Tier (around blocks 101–128). Blocks are numbered clockwise. The best balanced views are the West Stand long-side blocks at the halfway line; the Club Level gives the best comfort; the front rows of the Upper Tier give a clean 'TV-style' view; and away fans sit in the south-east corner (lower-tier blocks 20–22 and the upper tier above).

Configurations

Football (Arsenal — Premier League, Champions League)

Full bowl for every Arsenal home game. Long-side West and East stand blocks at the halfway line give the most balanced views; the North Bank and Clock End (behind the goals) are the loudest, most partisan ends. Away fans are housed in the south-east corner (blocks 20–22 plus upper tier above).

Concerts & events

The Emirates occasionally hosts large concerts and events with an end stage and the pitch as a standing floor. The front pitch standing area and lower-tier blocks facing the stage give the best views; blocks behind the stage are restricted or withheld.

Seating levels explained

Lower Tier (Level 1)

Blocks 1–32

The closest tier to the pitch, wrapping the full bowl.

Pros: Closest to the action; you can hear the players and managers. West/East halfway blocks give a balanced, immersive view, and the ends carry the most atmosphere.

Cons: Low, flat sightlines make the far side harder to read; behind-goal and corner blocks are more end-on; the away corner is here (blocks 20–22).

Club Level (Level 2)

Blocks 41–84 (premium)

The premium middle tier with rows numbered 1–9 and access to exclusive lounges and restaurants.

Pros: Excellent central sightlines with the best comfort, padded seats, fine dining and lounge access — the marquee Emirates experience.

Cons: Premium / membership pricing; sold on long-term licences or hospitality packages, not standard match tickets.

Box Level (Level 3)

Executive boxes

A ring of private executive boxes between the Club Level and Upper Tier.

Pros: Private hospitality space with dedicated seating and an elevated central view.

Cons: Corporate / box hire only — the most exclusive and expensive product.

Upper Tier (Level 4)

Approx. blocks 101–128

The highest tier — the most economical general seating.

Pros: The lowest rows give a clean, elevated 'TV-style' view; corners give a wide panorama of the whole pitch. Cheapest general seats.

Cons: Furthest from the action and high up; the back rows and top corners are the most remote seats.

Seats to avoid & obstructed views

  • Behind-goal Lower Tier corners: End-on angle makes the far end of the pitch harder to follow than long-side seats.
  • Top rows and corners of the Upper Tier: The highest and most remote seats from the pitch.
  • South-east corner (away allocation, blocks 20–22): Corner position with a more angled view; allocated to visiting supporters.
  • Front-row Lower Tier seats: Pitch-side hoardings and officials can intermittently block the lowest view.
