Tottenham Hotspur StadiumSeating Guide: Where to Sit & Best Seats
Tottenham Hotspur Stadium (opened 2019, capacity 62,850) is an asymmetric bowl built for more than football. Its defining feature is the single-tier South Stand — at 17,500 seats the largest single tier in the UK, a steep 34-degree 'wall' modelled on Dortmund's Yellow Wall and the loudest end of the ground. A world-first retractable synthetic pitch slides away to reveal an NFL/concert surface beneath, so the same bowl hosts Spurs, the NFL London Series, boxing and major concerts (Beyoncé, Bad Bunny, Lady Gaga). For football the best balanced views are the West and East lower tiers along the touchline; the upper tier (500s) is the best value with clean panoramic sightlines.
Configurations
Football (Premier League / Champions League)
Full bowl, ~62,850. Home end is the single-tier South Stand (the noisiest, most partisan end); the dugouts, tunnel and premium hospitality run along the West Stand. Away fans are housed in the North Stand lower tier (approx. blocks 114–118). Touchline lower-tier seats in the West and East stands give the most balanced views.
NFL (London Series)
The stadium is the NFL's official London home with a purpose-built synthetic pitch beneath the grass (the grass retracts in three trays). Sideline seats in the West and East stands run parallel to the line of scrimmage — the premium NFL angle — while the South and North ends sit behind the end zones. NFL games here have drawn 60,000+ (record 61,273).
Concerts
Stage is typically built at the North Stand end (Bad Bunny, June 2026, performs to a North-end stage). The pitch becomes a standing floor (GA/pit) plus seated blocks. Closest views are the front of the floor; the South Stand faces the stage head-on from distance, the East/West sides are side-on, and North Stand blocks directly behind/beside the stage are sold as restricted-view or withheld.
Boxing & rugby
Has hosted world-title boxing (Joshua v Usyk 2021, Fury v Chisora 2022) on a central ring — closest floor/ringside seats are most prized — and European rugby finals. Configuration is centre-stage, so lower-tier sideline seats and floor seats are best.
Seating levels explained
South Stand (single tier)
Lower approx. 251–257, upper approx. 248–260The 17,500-seat 'wall' — the largest single-tier stand in the UK at 34m high with a 34-degree rake. Home to the most vocal Spurs supporters and the Goal Line Bar (the longest in Europe).
Pros: Unmatched atmosphere; steep rake keeps even high rows close and head-on to the goal; the iconic end of the ground.
Cons: Behind the goal, so an end-on view of play; for concerts with a North-end stage it is the furthest seated block from the stage.
Lower tier (pitchside)
West approx. 101–108, East approx. 118–124, North approx. 110–113 (away 114–118)The ground-level ring closest to the touchline and players.
Pros: Closest to the action and most immersive; West/East touchline blocks give balanced, side-on football views.
Cons: Low, flat sightlines make the far side harder to read; corner and behind-goal blocks are angled; front rows can have hoardings in view.
Premium middle tiers
Two smaller middle tiers each sideThe East and West stands each split into four tiers, with the two middle tiers given over to corporate and premium hospitality (~8,000 premium seats and 70 loges in total).
Pros: Best comfort and sightlines in the ground; central touchline height; lounge and dining access.
Cons: Premium pricing only — not sold as general admission; package, not single-seat, in most cases.
Upper tier
West approx. 501–509, East approx. 521–530, North approx. 510–520The highest general-admission deck around three sides of the bowl.
Pros: Cheapest seats with clean, panoramic, unobstructed views — the best value in the stadium for reading the game.
Cons: Furthest from the pitch; steep climbs; back rows of the corners are the most remote seats.
Best seats at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium
| For | Sections | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Best overall (football) | West or East Stand lower tier, central touchline blocks (approx. West 104–105 / East 121–122) | Side-on at the halfway line and close to the pitch — the most balanced view of the whole field. |
| Best value | Upper tier West/East central blocks (500s) | Cheapest general seats with elevated, clean, panoramic sightlines and no obstruction. |
| Best atmosphere | South Stand (single tier), lower blocks | The 17,500-capacity 'wall' is the loudest, most partisan part of the ground — designed to generate noise. |
| Best for NFL | West or East Stand sideline blocks (lower or upper) | Sideline seats run parallel to the line of scrimmage — the premium NFL angle versus the end-zone South/North ends. |
| Best for concerts | Floor / standing pit at the front, then South Stand lower facing a North-end stage | The floor is closest to the stage; the South Stand gives a head-on (if distant) seated view of a North-end stage. |
| Best premium | West Stand middle tiers / Tunnel Club | Central, elevated, all-inclusive hospitality with the best comfort and sightlines in the stadium. |
Seats to avoid & obstructed views
- North Stand blocks directly behind or beside a concert stage: Restricted or no view of the stage; often sold as restricted-view or withheld entirely for concerts.
- Corner blocks where two stands meet (e.g. South/East and South/West junctions): Acute, angled views to the far end of the pitch or stage.
- Back rows of the upper tier corners (500s): The most remote seats from the action; long climb and distant sightlines.
- Front-row lower-tier seats: Pitchside hoardings, photographers and officials can intermittently block the lowest view.
- End-zone (South/North) seats for NFL: Oblique angle to the line of scrimmage — cheaper but a poorer view of the play than the sidelines.

Frequently asked questions
What are the best seats at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium?
For football, the central touchline blocks of the West or East Stand lower tier give the most balanced, side-on view of the whole pitch. For value, the upper tier (500s) over the same touchline offers clean panoramic views for the lowest prices; for atmosphere, the single-tier South Stand is the loudest end.
What is the cheapest seating at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium?
The upper tier (blocks in the 500s) around the West, East and North stands is the most economical general seating, while still offering elevated, unobstructed views. Behind-goal and corner blocks are typically cheaper than central touchline seats.
Where do away fans sit at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium?
Away supporters are housed in the North Stand lower tier, broadly blocks 114–118, in up to four dedicated sections.
What is the South Stand and is it the best place to sit?
The South Stand is a single-tier, 17,500-seat 'wall' — the largest single tier in the UK — built to be the home, atmosphere end (modelled on Borussia Dortmund's Yellow Wall). It's the best choice for noise and passion, but as it sits behind the goal the view of play is end-on rather than side-on.
Where is the stage for concerts, and which seats are best?
Concert stages are usually built at the North Stand end (Bad Bunny in June 2026 plays to a North-end stage). The standing floor/pit at the front is closest; the South Stand gives a head-on but distant seated view; East and West sides are side-on. Blocks directly behind or beside the stage are restricted-view or withheld.
How does the block numbering work?
Lower-tier blocks broadly run from the West Stand (approx. 101–108), round the North Stand (110–113, away 114–118) and East Stand (118–124), with the single-tier South in the 250s. Upper-tier blocks are in the 500s (West approx. 501–509, North 510–520, East 521–530). Middle tiers in the East and West are premium/hospitality.
Is Tottenham Hotspur Stadium good for NFL?
Yes — it's the NFL's purpose-built London home, with a synthetic pitch beneath the retractable grass. The best NFL seats are the West and East sidelines (parallel to the line of scrimmage); the South and North ends sit behind the end zones.
Is there accessible and companion seating?
Yes — around 265 wheelchair bays and 500+ amenity seats across every level of all four stands, issued via the Disability Access Scheme (which includes a free personal-assistant ticket on eligibility). There is a Sensory Suite in the North Stand by Block 416. Demand is high for concerts and big matches; contact access@tottenhamhotspur.com early.
