The O2 ArenaSeating Guide: Where to Sit & Best Seats
The O2 Arena in London (capacity ~20,000; about 17,650 seated plus a standing/seated floor) is one of the busiest concert and event arenas in the world. Seating is simple: a standing or seated floor at the front, the Level 1 lower tier (blocks 101–118) wrapping it, premium Level 2 suites and clubs in between, and the high Level 4 upper tier (blocks 401–422) above. The best views are the front floor blocks (A1–A3) and the lower-tier blocks facing the stage; the blocks directly behind the stage (114–117) are normally not sold for concerts.
Configurations
Concerts
End-stage setup. The floor is split into nine blocks — A1–A3 (front, closest), B1–B3, C1–C3 (back) — sold standing or seated by show. Lower-tier blocks 101–104 and 110–112 face the stage; blocks 114–117 sit behind the stage and are usually withheld.
Boxing / UFC / combat sports
Central configuration with the ring/cage in the middle of the floor. Floor seats are closest and most expensive; lower-tier 101–118 ring the action with a good elevated view.
Basketball / tennis / family shows
Central or end configurations depending on the event. The O2 has hosted NBA London games, the ATP Finals and arena tours; central-court floor and lower-tier sides give the best views.
Seating levels explained
Floor (A/B/C blocks)
A1–A3, B1–B3, C1–C3The flat floor at the front, divided into nine blocks; standing or seated depending on the show.
Pros: Closest to the stage; A1–A3 are the best floor views and the most immersive for concerts.
Cons: Flat floor means limited elevation — taller people in front can block standing views; C blocks at the back are a long way from the stage.
Level 1 (lower tier)
Blocks 101–118The lower seating tier wrapping the floor, closest to the action of the seated areas.
Pros: Great elevated, side-on or head-on views; front rows of 101 and 112 are a premium vantage; the best seated option for most shows.
Cons: Blocks 114–117 are behind the stage (normally not sold for concerts); corner blocks are more angled.
Level 2 (premium / suites)
Suites, boxes & American Express loungesThe premium middle level of private suites, boxes and members’ lounges.
Pros: Best comfort, central sightlines, lounge access and hospitality — the marquee O2 experience.
Cons: Premium pricing / membership; sold as packages rather than single seats.
Level 4 (upper tier)
Blocks 401–422The high upper tier — the most economical seating.
Pros: Cheapest seats with a complete view of the stage and floor; central upper blocks read the whole show well.
Cons: High and steep (not recommended if you dislike heights); blocks 409–414 are furthest from an end stage.

Seats to avoid & obstructed views
- Lower-tier blocks 114–117 (behind the stage): Behind the normal stage position — restricted or no view, and usually not sold for concerts.
- Upper-tier blocks 409–414 for an end stage: Furthest blocks from the stage, high and steeply angled.
- Back floor C blocks: On a flat floor at the back — distant from the stage and prone to blocked views when standing.
- Top rows of Level 4 generally: High and steep; not recommended for those uneasy with heights.

Frequently asked questions
What are the best seats at The O2 Arena?
For concerts, the front floor blocks A1–A3 are closest and most immersive, while Level 1 lower-tier blocks facing the stage (around 101–104 and 110–112) give the best elevated, head-on view. Front rows of blocks 101 and 112 are a particularly good vantage.
Which seats should I avoid at The O2?
Avoid lower-tier blocks 114–117, which sit behind the stage and are normally not sold for concerts, and the back floor C blocks, which are far from the stage on a flat floor. The highest Level 4 rows are steep and not ideal if you dislike heights.
What is the cheapest seating at The O2 Arena?
The Level 4 upper tier (blocks 401–422) has the most affordable seats and still offers a complete view; central upper blocks facing the stage are the best value.
Is the floor standing or seated at The O2?
It depends on the event. For many concerts the floor is standing (general admission) in blocks A–C; for others, and for sports, it is seated. A1–A3 are always the closest floor blocks to the stage.
Is The O2 Arena accessible?
Yes — there are accessible viewing platforms and companion seats (mainly on Level 1), accessible toilets, an induction loop and a Changing Places facility, with a free personal-assistant ticket on eligibility. Book through the venue’s Access team and book early for big shows.
