18 Mar – 31 Mar 2027 Canton Fair Complex, Pazhou 400,000 attendees
CIFF Guangzhou (China International Furniture Fair) is the world's largest furniture trade fair, drawing hundreds of thousands of buyers, manufacturers, designers and sourcing agents to the Canton Fair Complex in the Pazhou district each spring. Held across the same vast halls that host the Canton Fair, it spans home furniture, office furniture, outdoor living, decor and furniture-production machinery, typically running in two phases. For a hotel-booking traveller, Pazhou is the key: staying in this riverside exhibition district means a short walk or a couple of Metro stops to the halls, sparing you long cross-city commutes through one of China's largest cities. Guangzhou is a major manufacturing and trade hub in the Pearl River Delta, so demand for Pazhou rooms is intense during fair weeks and hotels sell out and raise rates early. Booking close to the Canton Fair Complex saves hours each day and eases the daily crush.

Pazhou keeps solid Cantonese right beside the halls, but the city's Michelin heavyweights sit across the river in Tianhe/Zhujiang New Town, a 15-25 minute taxi or a quick hop on Metro Line 3/APM from Pazhou station. Book evenings well ahead during fair weeks, when both tables and cabs get scarce.

Chef Fei's refined Cantonese is the city's benchmark kitchen and the obvious choice to impress a major buyer or supplier over a formal dinner.

Stay in the Pazhou exhibition district beside the Canton Fair Complex, ideally near Metro Line 8 (Pazhou or Xingangdong) or the Line 8/11 interchange, so you can walk or take one to two stops to the halls.
Rates vary widely by category and rise sharply during the fair. Budget and mid-range Pazhou hotels can run from roughly 60 to 150 USD a night, with international four- and five-star properties considerably higher; book early for the best value.
As early as possible, ideally two to three months ahead. Pazhou rooms sell out and prices climb well before the fair, especially near the venue.
Fly into Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport (CAN), about 45 km from Pazhou, connected by Metro Line 3 to Line 8 or by taxi and ride-hailing.
The Metro is the fastest and cheapest option, with Line 8 stopping at the Canton Fair Complex. Use Didi or metered taxis for other trips, but allow extra time during congested fair hours.
