No. There is no interest and no extra charge. Your plan total is exactly the hotel price shown when you book. The only fee we ever charge is a processing fee on cash refunds (see 'What fees apply?').

Depending on how far away your trip is, you can split your booking into between 2 and 16 weekly payments. The exact schedule is shown before you book.

Your hotel is booked and confirmed immediately. You receive your booking confirmation and your full payment schedule by email, and the remaining payments are charged automatically each week.

Automatically. After your first payment, each weekly payment is charged to your saved card, and we send you a reminder 2 days before every charge. In a few countries where automatic card charges are not allowed, we email you a secure payment link each week instead. You can switch to a different card at any time.

Yes. Sign in to your Event Escapes account at any time and pay off your remaining balance in one payment, whenever it suits you. There is never a fee for paying early.

We retry your card automatically and email you a secure payment link so you can pay another way, plus a final notice with one link to clear the remaining balance. If the plan still cannot be completed, we cancel the room before its free-cancellation deadline and everything you have paid goes into your Event Escapes Wallet in full. You never lose the money you have paid. You can turn that credit into a cash refund at any time (the processing fee applies).

Nothing else to do. Your booking is fully paid, we email you a paid-in-full invoice, and you simply arrive at the hotel and check in.

You can cancel your booking yourself, any time, from your Event Escapes account. If your booking is eligible for free cancellation, the amount you've paid is first added to your Event Escapes Wallet in full. You can use it towards another booking (always free), or request a cash refund to your card, where the 8.9% plan-processing fee is deducted.

It holds your money as Event Escapes credit in the same currency you paid, and we never convert it to another currency. Credit lands there in full, with no deduction, when you cancel an eligible booking or when a plan cannot be completed. It never expires and can be spent on any future Pay Weekly booking in that same currency (Australian-dollar credit can also be used at standard hotel checkout). Sign in with your application email to see and spend it, or convert it to a cash refund at any time (the processing fee applies).

Your plan is set in one fixed currency, agreed when you book. That is your local currency where we support it (Australian dollars in Australia, British pounds in the UK, New Zealand dollars in New Zealand, euros across the eurozone) and US dollars everywhere else. Your total and your weekly amount are locked when you book and never change. If your card is issued in a different currency, your bank converts each payment at its exchange rate on the payment date.

Hotels that display the Pay Weekly option. These are always rooms with free cancellation, which is what lets us return your money if plans change.

Applying creates your free Event Escapes account automatically, with no password needed. When your application is confirmed, your booking link is where you create your password. You then sign in with the same email to book and manage your plan on any device.

Anyone with an Event Escapes account, businesses and individual travellers alike. Applying is free, takes about 30 seconds, and no payment is taken until your application is confirmed and you choose a room.
