12 Jan – 15 Jan 2027 Fortezza da Basso 14,000 attendees
Pitti Immagine Uomo (Pitti Uomo) is the world's most influential menswear trade fair, held twice a year at the Fortezza da Basso in Florence, Italy. It gathers menswear brands, buyers, designers, press and style influencers for a showcase of collections that sets seasonal trends, famous as much for the street-style spectacle outside the halls as the business within. For a hotel-booking traveller, the Fortezza da Basso's location is a gift: this Renaissance fortress sits just a few hundred metres from Florence's main Santa Maria Novella railway station, right at the edge of the compact historic centre. That means most of Florence's hotels are within walking distance or a short tram or bus ride of the venue. Florence is a UNESCO-listed art city with limited but characterful hotel supply, and Pitti weeks fill the centre and raise rates sharply, so booking early is the key to a walkable, well-priced base near the fair.
Popular areas for attendees: Santa Maria Novella · Historic Centre (Duomo) · San Lorenzo.

The Fortezza da Basso is a 5-10 minute walk from Santa Maria Novella station and the historic centre, so during Pitti Uomo you can step out of the halls and be at a table on foot. Taxis queue on the station side if it's raining; otherwise just walk in.
