Event Escapes acts as a booking agent for Australian customers and as merchant of record for international customers. Cancellation terms are determined by the type of booking and the policies of the underlying supplier.
Hotel cancellation policies are established by the individual accommodation provider and are clearly displayed at the time of booking. Many properties offer free cancellation up to a specified date. After that date, partial or full cancellation fees may apply as outlined by the hotel. Refunds for eligible hotel cancellations are processed within five to ten business days to your original payment method.
Event tickets purchased through Event Escapes are non refundable once confirmed. This applies to all sporting events, concerts, and live entertainment. Tickets cannot be exchanged, transferred, or resold through our platform. In the event that an event is cancelled or significantly rescheduled by the organiser, we will work with our ticket supplier to arrange a refund or credit where the supplier's terms permit.
Most destination experiences can be cancelled free of charge up to 24 to 48 hours before the scheduled activity, depending on the provider. The specific cancellation window for each experience is displayed on the listing page and included in your confirmation email. Late cancellations and no shows are non refundable.
When cancelling a package booking, each component is processed according to its own cancellation policy as outlined above. Refundable items such as eligible hotels and experiences will be refunded. Non refundable items such as event tickets will not be refunded under any circumstances. The Event Escapes service fee is non refundable.
To cancel a booking, sign in to your account and navigate to your bookings page, or contact our support team at support@eventescapes.com with your booking reference number. Cancellation requests are processed within one business day.
Refunds are returned to your original payment method. Card refunds typically take five to ten business days to appear on your statement. Buy-now-pay-later (BNPL) refunds are processed in accordance with your BNPL provider’s terms.
