Getting to Barclays Arena
S-Bahn to Stellingen then shuttle
From Hamburg Hauptbahnhof spectators take the S3 towards Pinneberg or the S5 towards Elbgaustrasse to the stop Stellingen Arenen, and an event shuttle bus then covers the last stretch to the arena. The same S-Bahn lines also serve Dammtor and Altona stations on their way to Stellingen.

Metrobus routes to the arena
Metrobus line 22 running between S-Blankenese and U-Kellinghusenstrasse stops at Hellgrundweg Arenen, while line 180 stops at Am Volkspark, both giving a direct approach to the Barclays Arena. These bus stops are an alternative to the S-Bahn and shuttle combination.

Street closed to general traffic on event days
On event days the Uwe Seeler Allee, formerly named Sylvesterallee, which runs directly past the arena is closed to normal traffic and reserved for the official shuttle buses. Taxi drivers have been told by Hamburg authorities that this stretch is kept free for shuttles and that they must approach any taxi pick up area via Hellgrundweg instead.
