Leverkusen Mitte station is about twenty minutes' walk from the BayArena and is served by the regional express lines RE1 and RE5 as well as S-Bahn line S6. It is accessible, though wheelchair users are currently advised to use Chempark station instead.

Signposted walking route from the station
The walk from Leverkusen Mitte station to the stadium follows a short, well signposted route through a park and along a tree lined road, taking roughly fifteen to twenty minutes. Fans arriving by regional train are asked to alight at this station rather than Leverkusen-Manfort.

Free shuttle buses from Kurtekotten
From two hours before kick off, free shuttle buses run between the Kurtekotten car park near Chempark S-Bahn station and a drop off point on the street Am Stadtpark, which is only a short walk from the stadium. The same shuttle service operates for two hours after the final whistle to take spectators back to the car park.
Official car park is away from the stadium
There is no standard parking directly at the BayArena, so away fans and most drivers are directed to a large free car park on Otto Bayer Strasse near Chempark, on Cologne city territory, and must use the shuttle bus from there.
