Getting to Estadio Nacional de Chile
Dedicated metro station right at the stadium
Estadio Nacional station on Metro Line 6 sits on the northeastern corner of the stadium, directly connected to Avenida Pedro de Valdivia and Avenida Grecia. The station was built with extra large dimensions specifically to manage heavy crowds during stadium events, and connects onward to Line 3 at Ñuñoa and Line 5 at Ñuble.

Alternative approach via Line 5 and Ñuble station
Travellers coming from the city centre can take the green Line 5 toward Vicente Valdés to Ñuble station, which is roughly a fifteen minute walk from the stadium. Those coming from downtown typically change from Line 1 to Line 5 at Baquedano station.

Metro extends operating hours for big events
For major concerts such as BTS and System of a Down, Metro de Santiago has extended service on the lines serving the stadium until midnight or half past midnight to help spectators leave after the show. On these nights only the Estadio Nacional, Ñuñoa and Ñuble stations are kept open for entry, with several other stations on lines 3, 5 and 6 available for exit only.

Bus routes stop close to the stadium
Several Transantiago or RED micro routes, including numbers 103, 106, 114, 117, 506, 508 and 515, run along Avenida Grecia and Avenida Pedro de Valdivia and stop directly by the stadium, and can be picked up from metro stations such as Pedro de Valdivia, Manuel Montt or Los Héroes. For big concerts, bus operators also reinforce these routes with extra services to and from the stadium and Metro Franklin.
Very limited official parking at the venue
On-site parking at the stadium is very limited and generally reserved for staff or authorised vehicles, so public transport is strongly recommended. For some large concerts the organisers have confirmed the venue will not offer any parking for attendees at all.

Rideshare pick up can be slow after big shows
Spectators can request Uber, Didi or Cabify to or from the stadium, but it can be difficult to get a car nearby right after a large event due to demand and congestion. Arturo Merino Benítez International Airport has no metro line or regular public bus connecting it directly to the city, so travellers must first take an airport bus such as Centropuerto or Turbus into Santiago. Centropuerto connects the airport with Los Héroes metro station, from where spectators can change onto the metro network and head towards the stadium via Line 6 or Line 5.
