Getting to Mercedes Benz Stadium
Two MARTA stations serve the stadium
SEC District station, formerly GWCC or CNN Center, sits right at the stadium's doorstep and is the preferred stop for arrival and departure, while Vine City station on the same Blue and Green lines is the other nearby option.
Vine City station links to Gate 1 via a pedestrian bridge
Vine City station is the closest stop to Gate 1 and is reached by crossing a pedestrian bridge over Northside Drive, and it also serves as a useful alternative departure point if queues build up at the main station.
Rideshare uses two designated zones, not the gates
Uber and Lyft pickups and drop offs are confined to designated zones, with one on Northside Drive near the Georgia World Congress Center suitable for Gate 1 traffic and another on Broad Street between Trinity and Mitchell Streets, rather than directly outside the stadium gates.

Rideshare apps geofence the stadium footprint
Uber and Lyft use strict GPS geofencing around Mercedes Benz Stadium so drivers cannot be sent to the kerb outside the gates, and pickup pins are automatically locked to the approved zones after an event.

Official lots are cashless and open well ahead of kickoff
Mercedes Benz Stadium operates eleven official lots and decks around the venue, all cashless with online prepayment recommended, and the lots typically open four and a half hours before kickoff.

Gates open roughly one and a half to two hours before kickoff
Stadium gates generally open ninety minutes to two hours before kickoff depending on the event, and a clear bag policy limiting bags to twelve by six by twelve inches is strictly enforced at entry.

MARTA links the airport directly to the stadium district
From Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta International Airport, riders take the Red or Gold line to Five Points station and transfer to the Blue or Green line to reach GWCC or CNN Center or Vine City station, with the whole trip usually taking around twenty five to thirty five minutes.
