Where to stay for ADIPEC 2026: the closest hotels to ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi are in Al Maryah Island and Corniche, with Yas Island a short ride away. The fair runs 2 Nov to 5 Nov 2026 and rooms near the venue sell out first, so book a free-cancellation rate early. Add your company name and tax number at checkout for an itemised tax invoice.

ADIPEC 2026 takes over the ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi from 2 to 5 November, convening more than 205,000 energy professionals for the industry's most consequential annual meeting. This is where national oil companies, supermajors, engineering contractors and a fast-growing decarbonisation and AI-in-energy contingent do business: over 2,000 exhibitors fill ADNEC's halls and outdoor areas, while a parallel strategic conference draws ministers and chief executives whose keynotes move markets. Abu Dhabi has no metro, so hotel geography is decided by taxi minutes — the towers on Al Maryah Island and along the Corniche sit 10-15 minutes from ADNEC and absorb the corporate blocks first, with Yas Island and even Dubai mopping up the overflow. Rates across the city step up sharply for the first week of November. The rates on this page are live and bookable, so you can lock a sensible commute before the energy world does.

Popular areas for attendees: Al Maryah Island · Corniche · Yas Island.

  • Live 4 and 5 star availability from Al Maryah Island to Yas Island in your currency

Getting there

From AUH (Zayed International Airport)

  • ADNEC is 20-30 minutes from the airport by car along the E10/E20 corridors
  • Metered airport taxis are plentiful and the fare to ADNEC or downtown typically lands around AED 50-80
  • Careem and Uber both operate in Abu Dhabi with clearly marked pickup zones at the terminal
  • AUH's Terminal A is large — allow time from gate to kerb, and pre-book transfers for late-night arrivals during ADIPEC week

From Dubai (DXB)

  • Many delegates fly into Dubai: the drive to ADNEC is 115-140 km, typically 75-100 minutes on the E11 outside peak hours
  • A taxi or ride-hail one way costs roughly AED 250-350; corporate travellers often pre-book a car for the week
  • Intercity buses (E100/E101 routes) link Dubai with Abu Dhabi's main bus station cheaply, but you will still need a taxi to ADNEC
  • If you commute daily from Dubai during ADIPEC, leave before 06:30 — the morning E11 and Abu Dhabi approach roads congest badly during the show

Getting around during ADIPEC

Getting to ADNEC daily

  • There is no metro; the show runs on taxis and ride-hail, and ADNEC's drop-off loops queue solidly from 08:00 to 09:30 — pad every morning meeting
  • Silver Abu Dhabi taxis are metered and cheap by international standards; Careem is the dominant app and adds surge pricing at closing time
  • Hotels in the Capital Centre district adjoin ADNEC directly — staying there removes the commute entirely, which is why they sell out first
  • Expect security screening and VIP-related road closures around the venue on the opening day, when heads of state and ministers arrive

Around Abu Dhabi

  • Taxis are the default for visitors; public buses exist (paid via the Hafilat card) but are impractical between business districts on a tight schedule
  • Al Maryah Island, the Corniche and ADNEC form a compact triangle — most business journeys are 10-20 minutes outside rush hour
  • Early November is prime weather (late 20s to low 30s Celsius), so short walks between towers are comfortable, but distances deceive — check the map before walking
  • Yas Island hotels are 20-30 minutes from ADNEC against the main traffic flow, a workable trade for lower rates

Visa & entry

Visa-free / visa on arrival

  • GCC citizens (Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar) enter the UAE freely without a visa
  • Nationals of around 70 countries — including the UK, US, EU member states, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Japan, Singapore and South Korea — receive a free visa on arrival; EU citizens and several others get 90 days, most of the rest 30 days with extension options
  • Chinese passport holders enter visa-free under a mutual agreement

eVisa / visa required

  • Nationalities outside the on-arrival list — including India (unless holding qualifying US/UK/EU documents), Pakistan, Egypt, Nigeria and most of Africa and South Asia — need a pre-arranged UAE eVisa
  • eVisas are issued through airlines (Etihad and Emirates offer visa services with bookings), hotels or licensed travel agents; ADIPEC's organiser provides visa-support letters for registered attendees
  • Indian citizens holding a valid US visa or green card qualify for a visa on arrival

Documents to carry

  • Passport valid at least six months from arrival
  • ADIPEC registration or conference-pass confirmation, plus a business card matching your registration details
  • Hotel confirmation and return ticket — occasionally requested at immigration and always useful for on-site badge collection

UAE visa policy changes often and varies by emirate of entry; confirm current rules with the UAE embassy or your airline before booking.

First time at ADIPEC?

  • Register early and understand the pass tiers — the exhibition badge does not admit you to the strategic or technical conference sessions, which are priced separately and sell out
  • Dress code is business formal despite the climate: suits are standard on the floor, and the air conditioning makes them comfortable indoors
  • Day one brings ministerial openings, VIP convoys and road closures — arrive very early or schedule your first meetings from day two
  • Book Al Maryah Island or Corniche hotels for the corporate ecosystem, or the Capital Centre towers beside ADNEC to skip commuting entirely
  • Pre-book your airport transfer for arrival night; the taxi queue at AUH on the eve of ADIPEC is the longest of the Abu Dhabi year

Insider tips from repeat attendees

  • The final afternoon is dramatically quieter — good for candid technical conversations, though national-company pavilions start winding down after lunch
  • The real networking happens at country-pavilion majlis areas and the evening receptions on Al Maryah Island; the show floor is for scheduled meetings
  • Hall catering queues are long at 12:30-13:30; the Capital Centre hotel lobbies two minutes' walk away serve faster and calmer working lunches
  • If you must commute from Dubai, base yourself near Ibn Battuta or Jebel Ali on the Abu Dhabi side of the city and you will save 25 minutes each way

ADIPEC travel FAQs

When is ADIPEC 2026?

ADIPEC takes place 2 Nov to 5 Nov 2026 at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Where is ADIPEC held?

ADIPEC is held at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The nearest airport is AUH.

Where should I stay for ADIPEC?

The Capital Centre district adjoining ADNEC is the zero-commute option and sells out first. Al Maryah Island and the Corniche, 10-15 minutes away by taxi, host most corporate delegations and the evening reception circuit. Yas Island offers better availability and resort-grade hotels at a 20-30 minute drive.

How much do hotels cost during ADIPEC?

ADIPEC week is Abu Dhabi's single strongest hotel-demand spike: expect rates two to three times normal November levels city-wide, with venue-adjacent and Al Maryah properties commanding the steepest premiums and the earliest sell-outs.

How early should I book hotels for ADIPEC?

Corporate blocks are placed six to twelve months out, so individual travellers should book four to six months ahead for a realistic choice near ADNEC. Refundable rates booked early are the standard play while conference passes confirm.

Which airport do I fly into for ADIPEC?

Zayed International (AUH), 20-30 minutes from ADNEC, is the natural gateway with strong Etihad connectivity. Dubai (DXB) offers more routes and fares but adds a 75-100 minute road transfer each way — workable, though tiring if done daily.

Do I need a conference pass or is the exhibition badge enough for ADIPEC?

They are separate. The exhibition is free or low-cost to attend for trade professionals who register, while the strategic and technical conference programmes require paid delegate passes. If the ministerial panels and technical papers are your reason for coming, budget for a delegate pass early.

Do I pay any interest?

No. There is no interest and no extra charge. Your plan total is exactly the hotel price shown when you book. The only fee we ever charge is a processing fee on cash refunds (see 'What fees apply?').

How many payments can I make?

Depending on how far away your trip is, you can split your booking into between 2 and 16 weekly payments. The exact schedule is shown before you book.

What happens after I pay my deposit?

Your hotel is booked and confirmed immediately. You receive your booking confirmation and your full payment schedule by email, and the remaining payments are charged automatically each week.

How are the weekly payments taken?

Automatically. After your first payment, each weekly payment is charged to your saved card, and we send you a reminder 2 days before every charge. In a few countries where automatic card charges are not allowed, we email you a secure payment link each week instead. You can switch to a different card at any time.

Can I pay early?

Yes. Sign in to your Event Escapes account at any time and pay off your remaining balance in one payment, whenever it suits you. There is never a fee for paying early.

What happens if I miss a payment?

We retry your card automatically and email you a secure payment link so you can pay another way, plus a final notice with one link to clear the remaining balance. If the plan still cannot be completed, we cancel the room before its free-cancellation deadline and everything you have paid goes into your Event Escapes Wallet in full. You never lose the money you have paid. You can turn that credit into a cash refund at any time (the processing fee applies).
