Dubai Derma, the Dubai World Dermatology and Laser Conference and Exhibition, returns to the Dubai World Trade Centre from 6 to 8 April 2027 for its 26th edition. It pairs a three-day scientific conference with an exhibition of aesthetic products, lasers, devices, dermocosmetics and practice equipment, and the organiser reports more than 25,000 visitors and participants at the 2026 edition. Courses start earlier: the Pre-Conference Course on Dermatology and Dermatopathology runs from 3 to 6 April and the AADA Fellowship Course from 5 to 8 April, so many doctors need a hotel for most of the week rather than three nights. The Trade Centre sits on Sheikh Zayed Road beside World Trade Center metro station on the Red Line, which makes Downtown Dubai, DIFC, Al Karama and Al Barsha practical alternatives when the towers next to the halls are full or expensive. This page shows live hotel rates near the venue for your dates, so you can compare a short walk to the halls with a metro ride from a better-value district.

How do you get to Dubai Derma?

From Dubai International Airport (DXB)

  • DXB is Dubai's main airport and the closest to the Trade Centre; a taxi is the simplest option with luggage
  • The Dubai Metro Red Line runs from Airport Terminal 3 and Airport Terminal 1 stations to World Trade Center station, by the venue
  • Dubai Airports lists Red Line hours of 5am to midnight Monday to Thursday and Saturday, 5am to 1am on Friday and 8am to midnight on Sunday, so check them against a late or early flight
  • Some flights use Al Maktoum International (DWC) in Dubai South, which is much further from the city; check your arrival airport before you book

Arriving at the Dubai World Trade Centre

  • World Trade Center metro station on the Red Line is the organiser's recommended metro stop for the venue
  • Register online before you travel and download the Dubai Derma app, which holds your e-badge
  • Exhibition visitor registration and conference or course registration are separate, so check you hold the right one for the sessions you plan to attend
  • Sheikh Zayed Road traffic is heavy at the morning peak, so the metro is often quicker than a taxi

How do you get around during Dubai Derma?

Daily travel to Dubai Derma

  • Hotels on Sheikh Zayed Road around the Trade Centre are walkable or a short taxi hop from the halls
  • Emirates Towers, Financial Centre, Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall and Business Bay stations are all a few stops along the Red Line, as are ADCB station for Al Karama and Mall of the Emirates for Al Barsha
  • Buy a Nol card at any metro station or at the airport for the metro, buses and tram
  • Taxis are metered, and Careem and Uber also work in Dubai; queues build when the halls close, so the metro is usually quicker in the late afternoon

Around Dubai

  • Early April sits at the end of what the organiser describes as Dubai's pleasant season, so evenings are good for walking around Downtown or DIFC
  • The halls are strongly air-conditioned, so a light layer helps during long conference sessions
  • Arabic is the official language but English is widely spoken; modest dress is appreciated in public areas outside the hotel and the venue
  • Allow extra time for evening traffic on Sheikh Zayed Road if you are heading to the Marina or the Palm for dinner

Do you need a visa for Dubai Derma?

Visa-free / visa on arrival

  • Many nationalities, including UK, US and most EU passport holders, receive a visit stamp on arrival; the length of stay allowed depends on nationality
  • Some other nationalities, including Indian passport holders with certain valid US, UK or EU visas or residence permits, may qualify for a visa on arrival
  • Check the current eligible list with your airline or official UAE government sources before travel

eVisa / visa required

  • Travellers who do not qualify for entry on arrival need a visit visa before travel, which the UAE government says can be arranged through airlines, hotels and travel agents
  • The organiser offers visa assistance through a local partner: it asks for your passport copy, photo, trade show registration, flight and hotel booking, and quotes about AED 600 per application and around 3 to 7 working days once paid
  • Apply early, as final approval rests with UAE immigration and processing times vary

Documents to carry

  • A passport valid for at least six months from arrival
  • Your Dubai Derma registration confirmation or e-badge and, for exhibitors, a company letter
  • Your hotel booking and return ticket, which may be checked on arrival

Entry and visa rules change frequently; verify current requirements with the UAE embassy or official UAE government sources before you book.

First time at Dubai Derma?

  • Dubai Derma is strictly for healthcare professionals and industry participants, and the organiser may ask for proof of your profession
  • Trade visitor registration for the exhibition is free; the conference, the Pre-Conference Course and the AADA Fellowship Course each need their own registration
  • The exhibition is open from 10:00 to 18:00 on all three days, 6 to 8 April 2027
  • The organiser lists 18 CME hours for the conference and 24 each for the Pre-Conference Course and the AADA Fellowship Course, accredited through the College of Medicine and Health Sciences at United Arab Emirates University
  • Plan your conference sessions first, then use the breaks for the exhibition floor and live demonstrations

Insider tips from repeat attendees

  • If you are taking the Pre-Conference Course from 3 April, book from the night before: that is a six-night stay, and rooms near the Trade Centre are easier to find when booked early
  • A Red Line hotel in Al Karama or Al Barsha can be much better value than Sheikh Zayed Road with only a short ride to World Trade Center station
  • The organiser says registration fees are paid only to INDEX, the event owner, and has warned about scam emails using the Dubai Derma name; treat unsolicited offers with care
