5 Apr – 8 Apr 2027 Venetian Convention & Expo Center 28,000 attendees
The HIMSS Global Health Conference 2026 convenes at the Venetian Convention & Expo Center in Las Vegas from 9-12 March, bringing roughly 28,000 health IT professionals together - hospital CIOs and CMIOs, clinical informaticists, digital health startups, payers, policymakers and more than a thousand exhibiting vendors. HIMSS is where the healthcare technology sector sets its annual agenda, from interoperability and AI in clinical workflows to cybersecurity for health systems, with preconference forums opening the week before the exhibition floor takes over. The Venetian complex hosts everything under connected roofs, which makes the Venetian and Palazzo towers - and their mid-Strip neighbours - the most contested hotel inventory of the week, claimed heavily by exhibitor and health-system delegations. This page carries live bookable rates for hotels ranked by real distance to the Venetian Expo so you can secure a sensible commute early.

The Venetian or Palazzo, which connect directly to the convention centre, are the premium choice. Mid-Strip alternatives - Wynn, Treasure Island, Harrah's and The LINQ - keep you within a 10-20 minute walk at friendlier rates.
Expect mid-Strip rates to run well above normal - commonly one and a half to two times typical March midweek pricing, with the Venetian complex itself the steepest. Rates only climb as the event approaches.
Three to six months ahead for anything walkable; exhibitor blocks claim the Venetian complex well before that. Booking early on a free-cancellation rate is effectively free insurance.
