Millésime BIO, the trade fair for organic wines, beers, ciders, spirits and no and low alcohol drinks, holds its 34th edition from Monday 25 to Wednesday 27 January 2027 at the Parc des Expositions de Montpellier, in Pérols just south of the city. Created in 1993 and run by SudVinBio, the association of organic winegrowers in Occitanie, it is strictly for trade buyers and the press: every exhibitor gets the same simple stand, so only the wine makes the difference. The 2026 edition counted 1,400 exhibitors and 8,700 trade visits, 22 percent of them from abroad, according to the organiser, and 2027 marks the 20th anniversary of the Millésime BIO Challenge. Tram line 3 stops at Parc Expo, with free shuttles to the fair, and during the show the organiser runs free shuttles from Montpellier airport and the Sud de France TGV station. That makes the city centre, Port Marianne, Lattes and Pérols, or the coast at Carnon, all workable bases. This page shows live Millésime BIO hotel rates for your dates. Your badge is free and arranged separately with the organiser.

How do you get to Millésime BIO?

Flying in: Montpellier Méditerranée (MPL)

  • During the fair the organiser runs a free 30 seat shuttle from Montpellier airport to Reception B South at the exhibition centre, every 15 minutes from 9am to 8pm on Monday, 8:30am to 8pm on Tuesday and 8:30am to 6pm on Wednesday
  • The airport says it is about 10 minutes from the centre of Montpellier; the Hérault Transport airport shuttle, line 620, takes about 25 minutes to the city and costs €2, or €3 with a tram ticket
  • Taxis wait in the dedicated lane in front of entrance A; the airport warns that official taxis never approach you inside the hall
  • The organiser lists direct flights to Montpellier from Paris Charles de Gaulle and Amsterdam with Air France and KLM, plus regional and European routes; Marseille and Toulouse airports are the alternatives it names

By train or car

  • Montpellier Saint-Roch station is in the city centre, with public transport to the exhibition centre, according to the organiser
  • Montpellier Sud de France TGV station is outside the centre; during the fair a free shuttle runs from it to Reception B South, timed to TGV arrivals and departures
  • The organiser advises booking SNCF tickets early, as fares usually rise closer to travel, and international routes from Spain, Italy, Belgium, Luxembourg and Germany serve the city
  • Drivers take the A709 rather than the A9, which has no Montpellier exits, then exit 29 (Montpellier Est) and follow signs for Sud de France Arena/Parc des Expositions

How do you get around during Millésime BIO?

Getting to the Parc des Expositions

  • Tram line 3 stops at Parc Expo (Pérols); free shuttle buses run from the tram stop to the fair's second entrance, Reception B South, in about 5 to 10 minutes, the organiser says
  • The tram stop shuttles run every 10 to 15 minutes, from 9am to 8pm on Monday, 8am to 8pm on Tuesday and 8am to 6:30pm on Wednesday
  • Buy tram tickets in advance on the M Ticket app, the organiser suggests
  • Visitor hours are 10am to 7pm on Monday, 9am to 7pm on Tuesday and 9am to 5pm on Wednesday, so plan a later start on day one

Where to stay for Millésime BIO

Visa-free / visa on arrival

  • Non EU travellers are registered in the EU Entry/Exit System, fully operational since 10 April 2026, with fingerprints and a facial image taken at the border, so allow extra time at passport control

First time at Millésime BIO?

  • Millésime BIO is strictly for trade buyers in organic wines and drinks (wine shops, restaurants, sommeliers, retailers, wholesalers, importers, exporters, agents and brokers) and the press; suppliers, service providers and the general public are not admitted
  • Registration is free online, and the organiser vets buyers, so register well before you travel; teachers and students are welcome but must register with an institutional email address
  • Exhibitors are grouped by country or French wine region, a layout introduced in 2026 and kept for 2027, which makes it easier to plan a tasting route
  • Start at the Enoteca self service tasting area or the Challenge Bar, which shows the Millésime BIO Challenge award winners, to shortlist stands before your meetings
  • There are 19 catering areas at the fair, including a food truck village in covered hall A3, so you do not need to leave the site at lunch

Insider tips from repeat attendees

  • Monday opens at 10am but Tuesday and Wednesday start at 9am, and Wednesday closes at 5pm, so book a later flight home or an extra night if you have afternoon appointments
