From DUS (Düsseldorf Airport)
- The airport is only around 4 km from the fairground; a taxi takes roughly 10 to 15 minutes outside peak traffic
- During major trade fairs Rheinbahn runs the additional 896 shuttle bus between the airport and the Messe
- By regular public transport, take the SkyTrain to the airport rail station or S11 towards the city, then connect to the U78 corridor via Hauptbahnhof
- A standard VRR public-transport ticket is required; the fair admission ticket does not include travel

- Düsseldorf Hbf has direct ICE and IC connections from Frankfurt, Cologne, Berlin and Amsterdam
