24 May – 26 May 2027 Orange County Convention Center 20,000 attendees
SAP Sapphire Orlando 2027, run alongside the ASUG Annual Conference, takes over the Orange County Convention Center from 24 to 26 May, drawing around 20,000 SAP customers, partners, consultants and executives for the vendor's flagship North American event. This is where enterprise IT leaders pressure-test roadmaps for S/4HANA, the Business Technology Platform and SAP's AI portfolio, and where the ASUG community runs its deepest customer-to-customer sessions. The OCCC sits on International Drive, several miles from downtown Orlando and from the theme parks, so the hotels that matter are the ones on I-Drive within walking or short-shuttle distance of the North-South concourses, and those are absorbed by SAP partner delegations and customer teams long before spring. Late May also overlaps the start of Orlando's summer holiday surge. The rates on this page are live and bookable, sorted by real distance to the convention centre, so you can secure a walkable I-Drive room before the ecosystem takes them all.

The dining you'll want clusters along International Drive and Restaurant Row (Sand Lake Rd), both minutes from the Orange County Convention Center. Steakhouses fill up when a big convention is in town, so reserve early, and note most upscale rooms don't open until 4-5pm.

International Drive within walking distance of the Orange County Convention Center is the clear first choice, followed by the wider convention district served by the I-Ride Trolley. Lake Buena Vista works if you want resort amenities, at the cost of a daily I-4 commute.
Orlando has enormous hotel capacity, so citywide prices stay saner than in most convention cities, but the walkable I-Drive properties near the OCCC still rise sharply and sell through during Sapphire week. The premium buys back an hour of commuting every day.
Three to five months ahead is the sweet spot for walkable I-Drive rooms, which partner delegations block-book early. With free-cancellation rates there is no advantage in waiting for your pass to be approved first.
Orlando International (MCO) is the right answer for almost everyone, a 20 to 30 minute drive from the convention district. Orlando Sanford (SFB) only makes sense for specific low-cost routes, and it roughly doubles your transfer time.
Yes, and many attendees do; the OCCC sits between the Universal and Disney areas, so families can base near the parks while the attendee commutes. Just note that late May marks the start of peak park season, so book both the conference hotel and any park stays early.
