WIN EURASIA, the International Automation and Machine Technologies Fair, holds its 33rd edition at the Istanbul Expo Center (IFM) in Yeşilköy from 2 to 5 June 2027. Organised by Hannover Fairs Turkey, part of Deutsche Messe, it fills six halls and 55,000 square metres with factory and process automation, robotics and digital factory technology, welding and robotic welding, machine automation, laser, cutting, joining and surface treatment, and electrical and energy automation. The 2026 edition drew 35,692 visitors from 92 countries and 613 exhibitors from 16 countries, with a hosted buyer programme bringing in VIP buyers from Europe, the Middle East, North Africa and Central Asia. IFM is on the European side near the old Atatürk Airport, with its own stop on the M1A metro line, so the hotels around Yeşilköy, Bakırköy, Ataköy and Florya keep the daily trip short, while Şişli and Taksim suit visitors who want the city in the evenings and accept a longer commute. How do you get to WIN EURASIA?
From Istanbul Airport (IST)
- Istanbul Airport is the main international hub, on the European side north of the city and well away from the venue
- The venue's own advice is to take a Havaist or HVİST-10 airport bus to the Yenibosna-Kuleli stop, then the M1A metro to Dünya Ticaret Merkezi-İstanbul Fuar Merkezi station
- A taxi or prebooked car is the most direct option with luggage; allow for motorway traffic at peak times
- The M1A line is named after the old Atatürk Airport, which no longer handles your international flight, so do not confuse it with IST
From Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW)
- Sabiha Gökçen is on the Asian side, so reaching IFM means crossing the city
- The venue suggests the Havabüs coach to Taksim, then continuing by metro or Metrobüs towards the fairground
- With luggage, a taxi or transfer is often simpler; build the long journey into your arrival day
- If you have a choice of flights, IST is the more convenient airport for the European side
How do you get around during WIN EURASIA?
Daily travel to the Istanbul Expo Center
- The M1A metro (Yenikapı to Atatürk Havalimanı) stops at Dünya Ticaret Merkezi-İstanbul Fuar Merkezi station, at the fairground
- On Marmaray, change to the M1A at Yenikapı, or get off at Yeşilyurt, which the venue says is about 5 minutes from the halls by taxi
- From the Metrobüs, change at Ataköy-Şirinevler to the M1A for the fairground station
- Buy an Istanbulkart for the metro, Marmaray, Metrobüs, buses and ferries; drivers can also reach the venue by the E5, the TEM or the coast road
Around Istanbul
- Yellow taxis are metered, and BiTaksi and Uber help you book a car; check the meter is running
- Yeşilköy and Florya are on the Sea of Marmara coast, with seafood restaurants for client dinners close to the venue
- For an evening in the historic centre or around Taksim, the metro avoids the worst of the road traffic
- June in Istanbul is warm, so dress for comfort on the walk between halls and keep a light layer for air-conditioned meeting rooms
Do you need a visa for WIN EURASIA?
Visa-free / visa on arrival
- Ordinary passport holders from many countries, including the United States, Canada and Germany, can visit Türkiye without a visa for up to 90 days in any 180 day period
- For UK and Australian ordinary passports, Türkiye's Ministry of Foreign Affairs words the exemption for touristic visits, so check that it covers a business trip for your passport
- Chinese ordinary passport holders have been exempt for up to 90 days in any 180 days since 2 January 2026
eVisa / visa required
- Where a visa is needed and the purpose is tourism or commerce, apply for the official e-Visa online at evisa.gov.tr; the ministry says it takes about three minutes
- Indian ordinary passport holders need a visa, but those with a valid Schengen, US, UK or Irish visa or residence permit may get a single-entry one month e-Visa if they meet the conditions
- Visas for work or study are issued by Turkish embassies and consulates, not through the e-Visa system
Documents to carry
- A passport that expires at least 60 days after the end of your permitted stay; the ministry advises six months' validity from arrival
