How do you get to BEAUTY Düsseldorf?
From Düsseldorf Airport (DUS)
- On selected event days the U81 runs directly from the airport terminal to the MERKUR SPIEL-ARENA/Messe Nord stop in about seven minutes, according to the organiser
- In regular operation the U80 links the airport with the Messe Ost/Stockumer Kirchstraße stop, the Hauptbahnhof and the city centre
- Taxis between the airport and every Messe Düsseldorf entrance charge a fixed fare day and night, and the organiser puts the ride at about 10 minutes
- Flying home? The organiser points to DUSgateway, a free time slot for airport security you can book from 72 hours before departure
By rail or by car
- The organiser recommends Deutsche Bahn's discounted event offers for BEAUTY Düsseldorf, which include the onward journey from the station to the exhibition grounds
- By car, the A44 runs right past the fairground: leave at exit 29 Messe/Arena for the large P1 and P2 car parks, where a free shuttle bus takes you to the entrances
- Parking on P1 and P2 is cashless only, and you can buy a parking ticket online in advance; for satnav the organiser gives Am Staad (Stockumer Höfe), 40474 Düsseldorf
- The organiser puts the drive from Cologne at about an hour and from Dortmund and Aachen at about 1 hour 15 minutes

Getting to Messe Düsseldorf each day
- The main stops are MERKUR SPIEL-ARENA/Messe Nord (U78, plus the U81 on selected event days) and Messe Ost/Stockumer Kirchstraße (U78, U79, U80 and bus 722)
- From Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof and Heinrich-Heine-Allee in the Altstadt there are direct connections to the Messe; a taxi from the Hauptbahnhof takes about 14 minutes, the organiser says
- BEAUTY Düsseldorf uses Halls 10 to 12, entered through North A (lower level), North B (upper level, first floor) and the East entrance
- For local fares the organiser points to the eezy check in and check out fare in the Rheinbahn app, or a 24 hour ticket for up to five people

Do you need a visa for BEAUTY Düsseldorf?

- Germany is in the Schengen Area; EU, EEA and Swiss citizens travel with a passport or national ID card
- The German Federal Foreign Office lists citizens of the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, Japan and many other countries as needing no visa for stays of up to 90 days in any 180 day period

- Nationals of countries such as India, China, South Africa and Türkiye need a Schengen short stay (type C) visa, applied for through German missions or their appointed visa centres
- Under EU rules you can apply no earlier than six months and at least 15 days before travel; standard processing takes 15 days and can be extended to 45
