6 Oct – 8 Oct 2026 Fiera Milano Rho 62,000 attendees
CPHI (CPHI Worldwide) is the pharmaceutical industry's premier global trade fair, connecting drug manufacturers, ingredient and API suppliers, contract manufacturers, packaging specialists and pharma buyers from around the world. When staged in Milan, it is held at Fiera Milano Rho, one of Europe's largest exhibition centres, on the northwestern edge of the metropolitan area. For a hotel-booking traveller, the venue's excellent transit links matter: the M1 red Metro line runs directly to the Rho Fieramilano station at the fairgrounds, connecting to central Milan and, via the Malpensa Express, to the airport. Staying along the M1 line or near a mainline station keeps the commute simple despite the venue's distance from the centre. Milan offers abundant business hotels but attracts many simultaneous trade fairs, so rooms fill and rates spike during CPHI. Booking early and choosing a transit-connected location is well worth it.
Popular areas for attendees: Rho Fiera · Milano Centrale · City Centre / Duomo.

Hotels along the M1 red Metro line or near Milan's main rail stations give the most direct access to Fiera Milano Rho. Some visitors stay near the fairgrounds for short commutes, while others prefer central Milan for dining and sightseeing.
Rates rise sharply during CPHI because Milan often hosts overlapping fairs. Prices depend on location and class, with central and transit-connected hotels at a premium, so early booking is important.
Book well ahead, ideally a couple of months. CPHI is one of pharma's largest events and Milan's rooms fill fast, with rates climbing as the dates approach.
Milan Malpensa (MXP) is the main international gateway for the fair. Linate (LIN) and Bergamo Orio al Serio (BGY) are alternatives serving the wider region.
From Malpensa, take the Malpensa Express train into Milan and transfer to the M1 red Metro line to Rho Fieramilano, or take a taxi or pre-booked transfer directly to the fairgrounds.
