It moves there from STATION Berlin, which hosted the 2026 edition. The organiser puts the show at more than 14,000 visitors and 320 exhibitors, with around 200 speakers and 50 masterclasses in German and English for online retailers, brands, marketplaces and the agencies, software and logistics firms that serve them. The organiser names S-Bahn Messe Süd as the nearest station, so E-commerce Berlin Expo hotels in Charlottenburg, City West around Kurfürstendamm and the Westend all work well. Where should you eat during E-commerce Berlin Expo?

Messe Berlin sits in leafy Charlottenburg-Westend, so most business dining clusters a short U-Bahn ride east around Kantstrasse and the City West. Book client tables a day ahead; kitchens in Berlin often close earlier than you'd expect.

Charlottenburg, ~2km east of Messe on Kantstrasse

A buzzy, design-forward Japanese spot behind a graffiti facade, strong on sushi, sashimi and cocktails. Reliable for impressing a client without a full tasting-menu commitment.

Tip: Ask for a table rather than the bar if you need to talk business.

How do you get to E-commerce Berlin Expo?

From Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER)

  • The airport station is directly under Terminal 1 on level U2, and BER is in fare zone C, so you need an ABC ticket for the trip into Berlin, according to the airport
  • The S9 S-Bahn serves both BER Airport and Messe Süd, the station Messe Berlin names for hub27 and the South Entrance
  • The FEX Airport Express reaches Berlin Hauptbahnhof in about 23 minutes, where S-Bahn lines continue west to Messe Süd
  • By car or taxi, Messe Berlin suggests the A113 and the A100 northbound to exit 9 Messedamm, and warns of delays from the A100 ring road bridge closure

By rail or by car

  • The organiser says the nearest station is S-Bahn Messe Süd, with direct lines from Berlin Hauptbahnhof and the city centre taking 15 to 25 minutes
  • Messe Berlin lists the S3 and S9 at Messe Süd, plus the U2 (Kaiserdamm, Theodor-Heuss-Platz) and the Ringbahn at Messe Nord/ZOB for the north side of the grounds
  • Visitors and exhibitors can park in zones P17 and P18 for €15 a day, according to the organiser, with accessible spaces in P17c
  • The exhibition grounds are outside Berlin's environmental zone if you arrive by motorway and enter via the Messegelände/Messedamm interchange, so no emissions sticker is needed on that route

How do you get around during E-commerce Berlin Expo?

Getting to the South Entrance each day

  • Use the South Entrance at Jafféstraße 2, 14055 Berlin, which gives step free access to Hall 1.2 and hub27
  • Only official Berlin taxis may drive onto the Messe Berlin grounds; Uber, Bolt and similar services drop you on public streets just outside
  • Lifts link Hall 1.2 and hub27, and accessible toilets are in the main entrance area, Hall 1.2 and hub27
  • Tickets and routes for the S-Bahn, U-Bahn and buses are in the VBB, BVG and DB apps; Messe Berlin points to all three

Where to stay around Messe Berlin

  • The Westend streets around the fairground put you closest to the South Entrance for an early start or a late stand break down
  • Charlottenburg and City West around Kurfürstendamm have a wide choice of hotels and restaurants for client dinners, with S-Bahn and U-Bahn links to the Messe
  • Wilmersdorf, next to City West, is another base on the western side of the city
  • The organiser has no official hotel partners and suggests booking near Messe Berlin to suit your budget

Do you need a visa for E-commerce Berlin Expo?

Visa-free / visa on arrival

  • Germany is in the Schengen Area; EU, EEA and Swiss citizens travel with a passport or national ID card
  • The German Federal Foreign Office lists citizens of the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, Japan and many other countries as needing no visa for short stays of up to 90 days in any 180 day period
  • Non EU travellers are registered in the EU Entry/Exit System, with fingerprints and a facial image taken at the border, so allow extra time at passport control
  • ETIAS, the EU's planned travel authorisation for visa-exempt visitors, was not yet in operation when we checked; the EU says it will announce the start date several months ahead, so check before you fly

eVisa / visa required

  • Nationals of countries such as India, China, South Africa and Türkiye need a Schengen short stay (type C) visa, applied for through German missions or their appointed visa centres
  • Under EU rules you can apply no earlier than six months and at least 15 days before travel; standard processing takes 15 days and can be extended to 45
  • The organiser does not help with visa applications, but says you can use your Expo ticket or registration confirmation as a supporting document once you have registered

Documents to carry

  • A passport valid for at least three months beyond your planned departure from the Schengen Area
  • Your printed E-commerce Berlin Expo ticket and a photo ID that matches the name on the registration
  • Hotel booking and return travel details, plus copies of your visa supporting documents and travel medical insurance if you need a visa

Entry and visa rules change; check current requirements with the German embassy or consulate, or official EU sources, before you book.
