Eurobike 2027, the international trade fair for the bicycle and ecomobility industry, runs from Wednesday 30 June to Friday 2 July 2027 at Messe Frankfurt. It will be the 35th Eurobike, and the organiser, Fairnamic (a joint venture of Messe Frankfurt and Messe Friedrichshafen), has reshaped it: Eurobike is now an annual event with three days of 100 percent B2B business, without the public festival day of earlier editions, and it moves to Halls 3, 4 and 5 around the Agora on the eastern side of the exhibition grounds, where the outdoor area hosts test tracks and demo areas. The 2026 edition drew around 800 exhibitors from 44 countries and around 15,130 industry professionals, nearly 60 percent from abroad. For Eurobike hotels, the Messe and Westend area keeps you closest to the halls, while the Bahnhofsviertel around Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof is only a few hundred metres away and the city centre and Sachsenhausen suit dinners with dealers and partners. How do you get to Eurobike?
From Frankfurt Airport (FRA)
- The organiser puts the trip from Frankfurt Airport to the exhibition grounds at 15 minutes by car or taxi
- By train, take S-Bahn line S8 or S9 to Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof (main station), then S3, S4, S5 or S6 to Frankfurt (Main) Messe station
- FRA is one of Europe's largest hubs, with direct flights from most continents
- Hotels near the airport suit a late arrival, but most visitors stay in the city for the short daily trip to the halls
By rail and road
- Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof, a major ICE hub, is only a few hundred metres from Messe Frankfurt according to the organiser
- The organiser offers DB event fares for Eurobike for train travel within Germany, booked online with Deutsche Bahn
- Drivers should follow Messe Frankfurt's traffic guidance signs; visitors park for a fee at the Rebstock multi-storey car park, with a shuttle bus to the entrance
- Motorhomes can use Messe Frankfurt's visitor car parks, on spaces without electricity or water hook-ups
How do you get around during Eurobike?
Getting to Messe Frankfurt each day
- From the Hauptbahnhof, U-Bahn line U4 towards Bockenheimer Warte is one stop to Festhalle/Messe and the City entrance
- S-Bahn lines S3, S4, S5 and S6 reach Frankfurt (Main) Messe station, the second stop from the Hauptbahnhof, for the Torhaus entrance
- Trams 16 and 17 run from the station forecourt to Festhalle/Messe, the third stop, by the City/Festhalle entrance
- On foot it is about 10 minutes from Düsseldorfer Strasse via Platz der Republik and Friedrich-Ebert-Anlage; the organiser says the Messeturm's pyramid top helps you find your way
Around Frankfurt
- Tickets bought online include an RMV day pass for public transport in the RMV fare zone, valid only for the named ticket holder with photo ID
- You cannot bring your own bicycle onto the exhibition grounds, but there is bicycle parking at the entrances
- The Bahnhofsviertel and Westend are the closest neighbourhoods to the halls, while Sachsenhausen across the Main is a popular choice for evening dinners
- Early July in Frankfurt is usually warm, so keep a light layer for air conditioned halls and a waterproof for summer showers
Do you need a visa for Eurobike?
Visa-free / visa on arrival
- Germany is in the Schengen Area; EU, EEA and Swiss citizens travel with a passport or national ID card
- The German Federal Foreign Office lists citizens of the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, Japan and many other countries as needing no visa for short stays of up to 90 days in any 180 day period
- Non EU travellers are registered in the EU Entry/Exit System, with fingerprints and a facial image taken at the border, so allow extra time at passport control
- ETIAS, the EU's planned travel authorisation for visa-exempt visitors, was not yet in operation when we checked; the EU says it will announce the start date several months ahead, so check before you fly
eVisa / visa required
- Nationals of countries such as India, China, South Africa and Türkiye need a Schengen short stay (type C) visa, applied for through German missions or their appointed visa centres
- Under EU rules you can apply no earlier than six months and at least 15 days before travel; standard processing takes 15 days and can be extended to 45
- The Eurobike organiser asks visitors to apply for a visa as early as possible, as there may be longer waiting times
Documents to carry
- A passport valid for at least three months beyond your planned departure from the Schengen Area
- Your Eurobike ticket and photo ID, which the RMV travel pass included with online tickets requires
- Hotel booking and return travel details, plus copies of your visa supporting documents and travel medical insurance if you need a visa

First time at Eurobike?
- Eurobike 2027 opens from 09:00 to 18:00 on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
- Tickets go on sale in spring 2027 through the online ticket shop or at the box office, and the organiser says no proof of trade visitor status is needed to buy one
- There is no public festival day in 2027: the organiser describes three days with a 100 percent B2B focus, so plan for a business crowd rather than a consumer show
- To ride bikes on the test track you need to register on site or in advance, be at least 14 and bring valid ID; bringing your own helmet is recommended
- There are no public lockers on the grounds and no childcare, so pack light; coat checks are at the main entrances
