The NAMM Show, the music products industry's trade show run by NAMM (the National Association of Music Merchants), comes to the Anaheim Convention Center in Southern California from Tuesday 26 to Saturday 30 January 2027. The programme runs for five days: Tuesday and Wednesday bring education summits, the NAMM Retail Awards and Global Media Day, and the main exhibition floors open for three days from Thursday 28 to Saturday 30 January. In 2026 the organiser reported more than 60,000 attendees from 122 countries, regions and territories. That split matters for your hotel dates. The Anaheim Convention Center sits in the Anaheim Resort, so GardenWalk is a short stroll east along Katella Avenue and the Downtown Disney District, with its hotel restaurants, is about 15 to 20 minutes on foot to the north. For a more local evening, the Anaheim Packing District and The Ranch are a short drive into town.

Disneyland Resort (Disney's Grand Californian Hotel, Disneyland Drive), about a 15 to 20 minute walk from the convention center
The flagship dining room of Disney's Grand Californian Hotel reopened in February 2026 after a full renovation, serving a seasonal prix fixe menu of wine country cooking backed by a wine list of more than 1,500 labels. A private dining room and a chef's counter facing the exhibition kitchen make it a strong choice for an important client dinner.
Tip: Book well ahead for the dining room; the bar and lounge takes walk ins and serves a seasonal small bites menu if you only want a drink and something light.

A polished steakhouse serving a seasonal menu of American regional cooking, well suited to a serious business dinner away from the Resort crowds. Next door, the saloon is a dedicated country music and dance venue with called line dancing and two stepping.
Tip: The restaurant asks for business casual dress; the saloon opens Thursday to Saturday if your guests fancy a post dinner dance.

Downtown Disney District (Disneyland Drive), about a 15 to 20 minute walk from the convention center
Chef Carlos Gaytán's upscale Mexican dining room sits upstairs in Downtown Disney, with a bar and an outdoor balcony overlooking the promenade. The cochinita pibil and the mole are the dishes diners single out.
Tip: For something more relaxed, its sister restaurant Céntrico downstairs focuses on tequila cocktails and tacos.

Taiwanese, dumplings and noodles
Downtown Disney District (Disneyland Drive), about a 20 minute walk from the convention center
The Taiwanese dumpling specialist's large standalone restaurant at the west end of Downtown Disney, known for its soup dumplings and noodle dishes. Plates are made for sharing, which makes it an easy, sociable choice for a team dinner.
Tip: It gets busy around park closing times, so reserve ahead; solo diners often have better luck at the bar.

A lively themed seafood restaurant at GardenWalk, one of the closest sit down options to the convention center halls. The menu leans heavily on shrimp, from coconut shrimp to mixed seafood platters, with an outdoor patio.
Tip: Expect a wait on evenings when a big show lets out; weekday lunch and early dinner are quieter.

Anaheim Packing District (South Anaheim Boulevard), about a 15 minute drive from the convention center
The city's last surviving citrus packing house, now listed on the National Register of Historic Places, houses a busy food hall with stalls ranging from Indian street food at ADYA to fish and chips at Chippy Fish & Grill. It suits a group with mixed tastes, since everyone can pick their own dinner and meet back at the shared tables.
Tip: Monkish Brewing and several other bars sit within the Packing District a few steps away, so it is easy to turn dinner into a team night out.

How do you get to The NAMM Show?
Flying in to SNA, LAX or LGB
- NAMM's listed airport transfer partner, Karmel Shuttle Service, picks up at Los Angeles (LAX), John Wayne Airport in Orange County (SNA) and Long Beach (LGB) for transfers to convention hotels, with curbside pickup outside baggage claim
- Transfers through that service must be booked ahead, and groups of 15 or more book by phone; details are on the organiser's discounts page
- NAMM also lists show arrangements with United, Delta and Enterprise car hire on the same page, so check it before you book flights or a car
- LAX usually has the widest choice of long haul flights, while SNA and LGB are smaller airports; whichever you use, allow for Southern California freeway traffic
Driving and parking
- Parking at the convention centre car parks, the Toy Story lot and Garden Walk costs US$25 per entry during the show; Garden Walk needs a validation from Badge Will Call or the Lobby C Help Desk to get that rate
- Car Park 1 is reached from Katella Avenue and Car Parks 4 and 5 from West Street; the organiser says Car Park 4 is closest to Hall E and fills quickly
- The Toy Story lot (via Harbor Boulevard) and Garden Walk open for show parking on the three exhibit days only, from Thursday to Saturday
- Overnight parking is not permitted: cars left in show car parks after 2am are cited, so park at your hotel overnight
How do you get around during The NAMM Show?
Getting to the Anaheim Convention Center each day
- The Hilton Anaheim and Anaheim Marriott are among the closest hotels in NAMM's own list and host show services such as business centres and media badge pickup at the Hilton
- Anaheim Resort Transportation (ART) buses, which older guides mention, stopped running on 31 March 2026, so do not plan on them
- The organiser does not list a hotel shuttle for 2027 on the pages we checked, so from Garden Grove or further along Harbor Boulevard, budget for rideshare or parking
- Exhibitors may escort buyers onto the show floor from 8am to 10am on Friday and Saturday, before it opens to everyone at 10am
Show days and evenings in Anaheim
- Exhibits are open 10am to 6pm on Thursday and Friday and 10am to 5pm on Saturday; Tuesday events run 9am to 5pm and Wednesday 9am to 8pm
- Evening events include the TEC Awards on Thursday and the Parnelli Awards on Friday, and for 2027 the Bass Magazine Awards move on campus to the ACC Arena
- Large bags and luggage are not allowed in the show (bags must be within 17 x 12 x 8 inches), so on your last day leave cases at your hotel or use the bag and coat check
- Orange County is spread out, so rideshare or a hire car is the easiest way to reach dinners beyond the Resort District
Do you need a visa for The NAMM Show?
Visa-free / visa on arrival
- Citizens of Visa Waiver Program countries (including the UK, most of the EU, Japan, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand and Singapore) can travel without a visa using an approved ESTA
- NAMM points visitors to the US State Department Visa Wizard to check whether they need a visa, and notes Visa Waiver travellers do not need a letter of invitation
- Canadian citizens generally need neither a visa nor an ESTA for business visits of this kind
eVisa / visa required
- Nationals of countries outside the Visa Waiver Program, including China and India, need a B-1 business visitor visa with an in person consular interview
- NAMM issues a personalised letter of invitation through an online form, emailed to you as a PDF; it cannot help with the interview itself
- US visa interview wait times vary widely by country, so book your embassy appointment as soon as your trip is likely

- Plan your nights around what you are attending: summits and Global Media Day are on Tuesday and Wednesday, while the exhibit halls are open only from Thursday to Saturday

- If you only need the show floor, Wednesday to Saturday nights cover all three exhibit days; add Saturday night if you want to stay for Best in Show and the She Rocks Awards that close the week
