Full detailAbout Angel Stadium
Angel Stadium in Anaheim, often searched as Angels Stadium, has been home to the Los Angeles Angels since 1966 and seats 45,517 for baseball. The Angel Stadium seating chart has four main levels: the Field Level (sections 101 to 135), the Terrace Level (201 to 233, plus outfield sections 236 to 260), the Club Level (301 to 351) and the View Level, split into the 400s and 500s. On every level the numbers rise from the left-field side to the right-field side, with home plate in the middle (around 117 to 119 on the Field Level). The best views are in the Field Level infield, with the Lexus Diamond Club seats behind home plate; the Angels dugout is on the third-base side. For value and shade, the Terrace Level infield sits under the overhang, and the View Level behind home plate is the cheapest full view of the field.
Opened in 1966, Angel Stadium was enclosed for the Los Angeles Rams in 1980 and returned to a baseball-only layout by a Disney-led renovation in 1997 and 1998, which added the California Spectacular, a rock pile with geysers and a waterfall behind the left-centre field fence. The 230-foot Big A sign with its halo, once the scoreboard support in left field, now stands in the car park by the 57 Freeway.

What are the seating levels at Angel Stadium?
Field Level infield and Diamond Club109-127
The lower bowl round the infield, with the Diamond Box, Diamond Table and Lexus Diamond Club seats at the front of 114 to 122 behind home plate, and Diamond Field Box seats beside each dugout. The Angels dugout is on the third-base side and the visitors on the first-base side.
Pros: The closest seats to the pitcher, batter and dugouts; premium options include food, drink and club access.
Cons: The most expensive seats in the ballpark; the first-base side is in direct sun on the official shade map.
Field Level down the lines101-108, 128-135
Lower bowl seats from the infield corners out to the left-field (101) and right-field (135) foul poles.
Pros: Close to the field for less than the infield; good for catching foul balls and watching the outfielders.
Cons: You look back towards home plate at an angle; the first-base side sections are in direct sun for day games.
Terrace Level201-213, 221-233
A short tier above the Field Level along both baselines. The official sun and shade map shows the whole Terrace Level infield in shade, under the overhang of the levels above.
Pros: Shade and rain cover with a raised, close view of the infield; good value compared with the Field Level.
Cons: The overhang can cut off the top of high fly balls from the back rows.
Outfield Terrace sections236-249, 256-260
Outfield seats in right and right-centre field (236 to 249) and left field (256 to 260). The official shade map marks them all as direct sun.
Pros: Home run territory at a lower price; a close look at the outfielders.
Cons: Full sun for day games and a long view back to home plate.
Club Level301-322, 330-351
The third tier, running from the left-field side round to the right-field side, with the suites behind home plate and Brewery X at the right-field end. Most of it is partly shaded on the official map.
Pros: A raised, full view of the field with club-level amenities; less sun than the Field Level.
Cons: The sections nearest the foul poles look back at home plate at a sharp angle.
View Level (400s and 500s)401-436, 501-540
The top deck from foul pole to foul pole, in two parts: the 400s at the front and the 500s behind. Home plate is around 418 to 419 and 519 to 521.
Pros: The cheapest seats with a panoramic view of the whole ballpark; the third-base side is partly shaded.
Cons: The furthest seats from the field; the first-base side (419 to 436 and 521 to 540) is in direct sun on the official map.
Angel Stadium view from your seat
Field Level behind home plate
114 to 122 (home plate at about 117 to 119)The classic TV view of every pitch, with the Diamond Box, Diamond Table and Lexus Diamond Club seats at the front. The rows behind are ordinary Field Level seats with the same line of sight, just further back.
Tip: If the Diamond seats are out of budget, the higher rows of the same sections keep the view for less.
Field Level, Angels dugout side
108 to 113 (third-base side)Low seats along the third-base line, beside and behind the Angels dugout, with Diamond Field Box seats right next to the dugout. Partly shaded on the official shade map.
Tip: Home fans usually prefer this side, and it gets less sun than the first-base side.
Field Level, visitors' side
123 to 128 (first-base side)The mirror of the Angels side, beside the visitors' dugout, looking across the diamond. The official map shows these seats in direct sun.
Tip: Take a hat and sunscreen for day games.
Terrace Level infield
201 to 213 and 221 to 233A raised view from just above the Field Level, fully shaded on the official map. The front rows feel close to the infield; the back rows sit under the overhang above.
Tip: Choose a middle row: close enough to the front, but clear of the overhang's edge.
Outfield Terrace sections
236 to 249 (right field) and 256 to 260 (left field)Seats beyond the outfield fence in home run territory, looking back towards home plate across the whole field. All in direct sun for day games.
Tip: Gate 6 in right field is right next to section 236.
Club Level
301 to 322 and 330 to 351A high, full view of the diamond from the third tier, with suites behind home plate. Sections nearest home plate (320 to 322 and 330 to 332) give the most central sightline.
Tip: Brewery X, the ballpark's restaurant, is at the right-field end of this level.
View Level
401 to 436 and 501 to 540The top deck, with a panoramic view of the field, the outfield rockpile and the scoreboards. The 400s sit in front of the 500s, so they are lower and closer.
Tip: For shade, stay on the third-base side (401 to 418 and 501 to 520).
How do Angel Stadium seat numbers work?
Angel Stadium tickets show a section, row and seat, and the first digit of the section is the level: 100s are the Field Level, 200s the Terrace Level and the outfield Terrace sections, 300s the Club Level, and 400s and 500s the View Level. On every level the numbers rise from the left-field side to the right-field side, so low numbers are on the third-base (Angels) side and high numbers on the first-base side. On the Field Level, 101 is at the left-field foul pole, home plate is around 117 to 119 and 135 is at the right-field foul pole. On the Club Level, the suites sit behind home plate, so the seating runs 301 to 322, then 330 to 351. Rows are lettered from the front of each section, starting at A.
Reading a ticket: Section 419, Row F: View Level, 400s, just to the first-base side of home plate, six rows from the front of the upper deck. It is a central view of the whole field, but on the sunny side of the official shade map.
