7 June – 11 June 2027 NOVA Spektrum, Lillestrom 63,698 attendees
Nor-Shipping is a leading international maritime trade fair and conference week, held biennially at NOVA Spektrum in Lillestrøm, just outside Oslo, Norway. It gathers shipowners, shipbuilders, technology providers, class societies, financiers and the wider ocean-industries community around exhibitions, conferences and a busy programme of networking events across Oslo and Lillestrøm. For a hotel-booking traveller, the geography is straightforward and favourable: NOVA Spektrum is a short walk from Lillestrøm station, which is only about 12–13 minutes by fast train from Oslo Airport Gardermoen and a similar quick hop from central Oslo. That means you can base yourself in Lillestrøm right by the venue, or in central Oslo for its harbourfront, dining and evening events, with an easy train link either way. Oslo is an expensive city and Nor-Shipping week tightens hotel availability, so booking early secures the best location and rate.

NOVA Spektrum is a 5-minute walk from Lillestrom station, and central Oslo is a direct 12-15 minute train from there into Oslo S; keep quick venue-side meals in Lillestrom and save the Michelin rooms and Aker Brygge waterfront for a run into town. Norwegian prices are steep, so a '$$' here still spends like a client dinner elsewhere.

Oslo and Lillestrøm are expensive and rates rise during the fair. Expect mid-range hotels from roughly 150 to 300 EUR a night, with premium properties higher; book early for the best value.
Book two to three months ahead. Nor-Shipping week tightens availability across Oslo and Lillestrøm and rates climb as the event nears.
