About Trump National Doral Miami — Blue Monster Course
The Blue Monster at Trump National Doral is one of golf's great public championship tests, originally laid out by Dick Wilson in 1962 and dramatically rebuilt by Gil Hanse in 2014. For more than half a century it hosted the PGA Tour's Doral event and later the WGC-Cadillac Championship. The Hanse redesign added cavernous bunkers, firmer greens and more water while preserving the fearsome par-4 18th. Crucially, it remains a resort pay-and-play course, so ordinary golfers can take on the same closing stretch that has undone the world's best.
