Can I play Laguna Golf Lăng Cô?
Yes — Laguna Golf Lăng Cô is a resort course within the Banyan Tree / Angsana Laguna Lăng Cô complex and is open to all golfers, not just resort guests. Guests staying at the Banyan Tree or Angsana receive discounted rates (around 15% less), but any visitor can book a tee time. A caddie is assigned to every group, as is standard in Vietnam.
How to book: Book through the club's website, your Laguna Lăng Cô resort, or a Da Nang/Hue golf-tour operator; a day or two ahead is usually fine. Green fees include a shared buggy and caddie, with resort-guest and stay-and-play packages available. Weekends carry a premium.
About Laguna Golf Lăng Cô
Opened in 2013 as part of Banyan Tree's Laguna Lăng Cô resort, Laguna Golf Lăng Cô is Sir Nick Faldo's design on a tranquil bay facing the East Sea between the imperial city of Hue and Da Nang. The par-71, 6,961-yard course plays through three distinct zones — flat opening holes among former rice paddies, a dramatic middle stretch along the sea, and closing holes routed through low hills against large rocky outcrops. Framed by the Truong Son (Annamite) mountains and a three-kilometre beach, it is a scenic, walkable resort course that welcomes visitors and rewards resort guests with lower rates. It has become a highlight of central Vietnam's fast-growing golf coast alongside Ba Na Hills and Danang courses.
Signature hole
The middle stretch runs along the East Sea with dramatic ocean views, while the closing holes weave through low hills against large rocky outcrops — the seaside and mountain-backed holes are the layout's calling cards.
