About Koninklijke Haagsche Golf & Country Club
Koninklijke Haagsche Golf & Country Club, the country's oldest club (founded 1893), moved to its current site among the Wassenaar dunes in 1938, where Harry Colt, Charles Alison and John Morrison routed one of continental Europe's greatest links; a 2014 restoration by Frank Pont returned much of its original drama. The course pitches and tumbles across genuine duneland, with blind shots, elevated tees and firm, fast turf that feels transported from Britain's finest coasts. A par-72 test of around 6,800 yards, it is regularly ranked among the world's top 100 and hosted the Dutch Open some twenty times. Access is essentially as a member's guest, which makes a round here a special, hard-won prize.
