Can I play TPC Scottsdale (Stadium Course)?
Yes — the Stadium Course is a public, pay-and-play course owned by the PGA Tour, and anyone can book a tee time. Guests of the adjacent Fairmont Scottsdale Princess and stay-and-play packages receive preferred access and rates, but no membership is needed. The one closed window is WM Phoenix Open week in early February, when the course is given over to the tournament.
How to book: Reserve online through the TPC Scottsdale tee sheet or by phone, ideally well in advance for the prime winter high season (roughly December to April). Booking through the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess as a hotel guest secures priority times and package pricing. Carts are included in the green fee.
About TPC Scottsdale (Stadium Course)
Designed by Tom Weiskopf and Jay Morrish and opened in 1986, TPC Scottsdale's Stadium Course was purpose-built for spectators, with mounding and natural amphitheatres that make it one of the great viewing venues in the game. Since 1987 it has hosted the Phoenix Open — now the WM Phoenix Open — the best-attended tournament in golf, whose par-3 16th is ringed by a fully enclosed 20,000-seat stadium. Owned by the PGA Tour, it is a public, cart-included resort course paired with the neighbouring Fairmont Scottsdale Princess. For most visitors the draw is simple: stand on the 16th tee where thousands roar every February, then play the same closing stretch the pros do.
