ANGA COM, the exhibition and conference for broadband, media and connectivity, runs from Tuesday 1 to Thursday 3 June 2027 at Koelnmesse in Cologne. Its organiser, ANGA Services GmbH, a subsidiary of ANGA The Broadband Association, calls it Europe's leading business platform for the sector, bringing network operators, vendors and content providers together on fibre, cable, mobile, satellite, streaming, data centres and AI. The 2026 edition counted 20,000 participants from over 80 countries and 450 exhibitors from 44 countries, and the conference runs more than 60 panels on five stages alongside the exhibition. ANGA COM uses halls 7 and 8 and the Congress Center North, with all access through Entrance North. For ANGA COM hotels, Deutz puts you on the same side of the Rhine as the halls and Köln Messe/Deutz station, while the Altstadt and the Hauptbahnhof area are just across the river. How do you get to ANGA COM?
From Cologne Bonn Airport (CGN) and Düsseldorf (DUS)
- The organiser says S-Bahn lines S13 and S19 or a taxi reach the fairgrounds at Köln Messe/Deutz station in about 15 minutes from Cologne Bonn Airport
- From Düsseldorf Airport the organiser puts the journey at about 35 minutes
- Cologne Bonn Airport has its own ICE station next to both terminals and is served around the clock by S-Bahn, regional and bus lines
- Frankfurt Airport is the third international airport the organiser lists within an hour of the Cologne area
By rail and road
- The ICE station Köln Messe/Deutz is directly next to the fairgrounds, according to the organiser
- A train from Düsseldorf or Bonn to Cologne takes about 25 minutes
- Visitors park at P21 and in the P22 car park, which has a shuttle bus to Entrance North; the address for navigation is Messeplatz, 50679 Köln
- The ANGA COM travel page links maps of the motorways around Cologne and of the city's low emission zone, so check both before you drive
How do you get around during ANGA COM?
Getting to Koelnmesse each day
- ANGA COM is in halls 7 and 8 and the Congress Center North, and all visitors enter through Entrance North
- Tram lines 3 and 4 stop at Koelnmesse, about 500 metres on foot from Entrance North
- Show hours are 09:00 to 18:00 on Tuesday and Wednesday and 09:00 to 16:00 on Thursday
- Bring your printed e-ticket if you want to use it as your badge; the organiser says this shortens waiting times at the entrance
Deutz, the Altstadt or the station area?
- Deutz is the district around the fairgrounds and Köln Messe/Deutz station, so it keeps the morning trip shortest
- S-Bahn lines S6, S11, S12 and S19 stop at Köln Messe/Deutz, which helps if you stay near another S-Bahn station in the city
- The Altstadt, the cathedral and the Hauptbahnhof area are across the Rhine from Deutz, with more hotels and restaurants for team dinners
- Koelnmesse's own Cologne guide points to modern restaurants in the Belgian Quarter (Belgisches Viertel) and at the Rhine harbour for evenings
Do you need a visa for ANGA COM?
Visa-free / visa on arrival
- Germany is in the Schengen Area; EU, EEA and Swiss citizens travel with a passport or national ID card
- The German Federal Foreign Office lists citizens of the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, Japan and many other countries as needing no visa for stays of up to 90 days in any 180 day period
- Non EU travellers are registered in the EU Entry/Exit System, fully operational since 10 April 2026, with fingerprints and a facial image taken at the border, so allow extra time at passport control
- ETIAS, the EU's planned travel authorisation for visa-exempt visitors, was not yet in operation when we checked; the EU says it will announce the start date several months ahead, so check before you fly
eVisa / visa required
- Nationals of countries such as India, China, South Africa and Türkiye need a Schengen short stay (type C) visa, applied for through German missions or their appointed visa centres
- Under EU rules you can apply no earlier than six months and at least 15 days before travel; standard processing takes 15 days and can be extended to 45
- The ANGA COM website had no visa or invitation letter information for 2027 when we checked, so contact the organiser early if your application needs a letter
Documents to carry
- A passport valid for at least three months beyond your planned departure from the Schengen Area
- Your ANGA COM e-ticket, plus an official ID if you booked the ANGA COM Night, where the e-ticket is valid only with ID
- Hotel booking and return travel details, plus copies of your visa supporting documents and travel medical insurance if you need a visa

First time at ANGA COM?
- Entry to the exhibition is for trade visitors only, and registration is binding, personal and non-transferable
- Tickets are sold online only and there are no ticket sales on site; the organiser says the 2027 ticket shop opens in December 2026
- Conference tickets include free entrance to the exhibition, and the 2026 terms say conference passes, except the day ticket for the final day, include lounge access
- The 2027 conference agenda is due to be published in March 2027; the 2026 agenda is online as a guide to the format
- Direct sales are not permitted at ANGA COM, so treat it as a place for meetings, product briefings and the conference

- The ANGA COM Night starts at 18:00 on Tuesday 1 June 2027 at the Rheinterrassen restaurant on the Rhine, overlooking the cathedral; it needs its own ticket, sold with a conference ticket in a limited contingent
- Exhibitors: stand construction runs from Friday 28 May to Monday 31 May 2027 and dismantling until Friday 4 June, so stand teams often need several nights more than the three show days
