From Cologne Bonn Airport (CGN)
- The S19 S-Bahn runs directly from the airport station to Köln Messe/Deutz in roughly 15 minutes, no changes needed
- Trains also continue to Köln Hauptbahnhof if your hotel is in the Altstadt on the left bank of the Rhine
- A taxi to Deutz takes about 15 to 20 minutes outside peak hours; the airport is around 15 km southeast of the fairground
- Buy a VRS ticket before boarding or use the Deutsche Bahn app; airport ticket machines accept cards
By rail or via Düsseldorf Airport (DUS)
- Köln Messe/Deutz station sits directly beside the fairground: many ICE and international trains stop there, so check for it before defaulting to the Hauptbahnhof
