Expodental Meeting, which the organiser calls the most important Italian dental event, returns to the Rimini Expo Centre from Thursday 13 to Saturday 15 May 2027. It is organised by UNIDI, the Italian dental industry association, in collaboration with Italian Exhibition Group, and has been held in Rimini since 2016. The show covers the whole dental supply chain, from clinical equipment and digital workflow to dental technology, with dedicated areas such as Expo 3D, the Tecnodental Forum for dental technicians, Expodental RDH for dental hygienists and a programme on aesthetic medicine in dentistry. The 2026 edition recorded more than 21,000 attendance over its three days, with 400 exhibitors in six halls, 4,000 more unique visitors than in 2025 and a scientific programme in 16 rooms with more than 200 speakers. Admission is free for industry professionals. The Expo Centre sits on Via Emilia on the northern side of Rimini, with its own railway station, Riminifiera, about 50 metres from the South Entrance on event days. Viserba and the north of Rimini keep you close to the halls, while Marina Centro, the historic centre and the resorts down to Riccione put the seafront within reach by bus, train or Metromare. How do you get to Expodental Meeting?
Flying in: Rimini (RMI) and Bologna (BLQ)
- Rimini Federico Fellini Airport (RMI) is about 10 km from the Expo Centre, according to the venue's information on the SIGEP site; the Expodental organiser lists it with Bologna and Milan airports
- Bologna Guglielmo Marconi Airport (BLQ) is about 120 km away on the A14 motorway; the organiser points to the Shuttle Italy Airport bus, which runs every day of the year with 8 daily round trips to Rimini railway station and Via Annibale Fada
- From Milan airports, take the train to Rimini or to Riminifiera, the station inside the fairground
- Taxis can be booked through Radio Taxi Rimini on +39 0541 50020, the number the organiser gives
By train and car
- Riminifiera station is on the Milan to Bari line, about 50 metres from the South Entrance, and is only active on event days; the organiser asks you to check trenitalia.com for trains that stop there, as trains are subject to change
- If you arrive at Rimini's main station, the regular bus to the fair is line 9, the organiser says
- Drivers take the A14 Bologna to Bari to Taranto motorway and leave at Rimini Nord, about 6 km from the fair; the venue has 11,000 parking spaces

How do you get around during Expodental Meeting?
Getting to the Expo Centre each day
- City buses serve the fair: line 9 from Rimini railway station, line 10 from Rimini Sud (Miramare) and line 5 from Rimini Nord (Torre Pedrera), the organiser says
- Metromare links Rimini and Riccione stations in 23 minutes on a dedicated route, every 20 minutes daily according to the organiser; from Rimini station continue by train or bus 9 to the fair
- A regular ticket is needed for Metromare and local buses; the organiser lists the three day Romagna Smart Pass, the Rail Smart Pass that also covers regional trains in Romagna, and a Daily Pass
- Lime and BIT electric micromobility vehicles are another option for short trips between your hotel and the fair, the organiser says
Where to stay in Rimini
- Viserba and the north of Rimini are closest to the Expo Centre and suit exhibitors with early stand starts; check each hotel's position on the map before you book
- The historic centre and the station area work well with bus line 9 or a train to Riminifiera
- Marina Centro puts the seafront and restaurants on your doorstep in the evening, a short ride from the main station
- Miramare and Riccione in the south are linked to Rimini station by Metromare and to the fair by bus line 10, a good choice if you prefer a quieter seafront base
Do you need a visa for Expodental Meeting?

- Saturday closes at 16:30, earlier than the other days, so plan any key stand visits for Thursday or Friday
