FCE Pharma, the pharmaceutical industry trade fair run by NürnbergMesse Brasil, returns to São Paulo Expo from Tuesday 8 to Thursday 10 June 2027, open from 11am to 7pm each day. The organiser calls it the main business platform for the pharmaceutical sector in Latin America and the only fair covering every stage of the production chain, from machinery and raw materials to packaging, laboratory technology, logistics and specialist services. It runs alongside FCE Cosmetique, and the 2026 edition, which marked 30 years of both fairs, brought together more than 650 exhibiting brands and, the organiser reports, 23,282 visitors from almost 30 countries. São Paulo Expo stands on the Rodovia dos Imigrantes in the south of the city, about 900 metres from Jabaquara metro station and with a free fair shuttle from Santos-Imigrantes station, so the most practical bases are hotels near the venue, along the Blue Line through Saúde and Vila Mariana, on Avenida Paulista on the Green Line, or around Congonhas Airport in Moema. Where should you eat during FCE Pharma?
Sao Paulo Expo sits in Agua Funda on the south side, easiest reached via the Metro Blue Line to Jabaquara terminal plus a short taxi, or a direct 10-15 min cab. Moema is the closest good dining cluster (~15 min), while Itaim Bibi, Vila Olimpia and Jardins (20-30 min by taxi, worse in rush hour) are where you take clients.

How do you get to FCE Pharma?
From Guarulhos International (GRU)
- Airport-Guarulhos station is on CPTM Line 13-Jade, which runs to Engenheiro Goulart for Line 12-Safira towards Tatuapé, Brás and Luz
- The station is close to the Terminal 1 car park, and a free shuttle links it with the other passenger terminals
- From Luz, Metro Line 1-Blue runs south through Vila Mariana and Saúde to Jabaquara, the station nearest São Paulo Expo
- Airport Bus Service runs line 316 to the Avenida Paulista hotel circuit and line 258 to Congonhas Airport, with tickets at Terminal 2 and Terminal 3, online or from the driver
From Congonhas (CGH) and by road
- São Paulo Expo says it is 10 minutes from Congonhas Airport, which handles domestic flights and connections from other Brazilian cities
- The venue is also 10 minutes from the Rodoanel Mário Covas ring road and outside the municipal vehicle restriction zone (rodízio)
- Drivers use the main access at Rodovia dos Imigrantes, km 1.5; loading and unloading is at Av. Miguel Estéfano, 3,000 (Rua Etruscos)
- The venue asks visitors to park only in its own car park or accredited car parks, never on the surrounding public roads
How do you get around during FCE Pharma?
Getting to São Paulo Expo each day
- The organiser runs a free shuttle in both directions between Santos-Imigrantes metro station (Line 2-Green) and São Paulo Expo from 10am to 8pm on fair days
- Jabaquara station, the southern end of Line 1-Blue, is about 900 metres from the venue
- Visitors enter through Pavilhão 1 (Hall 1)
- Accredited taxis wait at a fixed rank throughout the fair; the organiser advises booking rides only through apps and using marked, accredited taxis
Around São Paulo
- Line 2-Green runs along Avenida Paulista, through Consolação, Trianon-Masp and Brigadeiro, straight to Santos-Imigrantes, so Paulista hotels connect with the fair shuttle without a change
- Line 1-Blue links Jabaquara with Saúde, Vila Mariana and the city centre, and meets Line 2-Green at Ana Rosa and Paraíso
- The venue warns against unlicensed transport, so stick to the metro, the official shuttle, app rides or accredited taxis
- Allow extra time by road at rush hour, and use the metro and shuttle for the daily trip where you can
Do you need a visa for FCE Pharma?
Visa-free entry
- UK government advice says British citizens can visit Brazil without a visa for up to 90 days for tourism; for a business visit, confirm the current rules with the Brazilian consulate
- Citizens of many other countries can also visit without a visa, so check your own nationality with a Brazilian embassy or consulate before you book
- Make sure the border officer stamps your passport on arrival, as you may be fined on departure if it is not stamped

- Canada's travel advice lists both a tourist visa and a business visa as required for Canadians, and points to the Brazil eVisa run by VFS Global
- Australia's Smartraveller says Australians need a visa to enter Brazil and cannot get one at the airport or border, and travellers who arrive without a required visa are sent back on the next available flight
- Other nationalities that need a visa should apply through a Brazilian embassy or consulate well before travel; dual nationals must enter and leave Brazil on their Brazilian passport

- A passport valid for your whole stay; UK advice asks for at least six months of validity from the date you arrive
- Your eVisa or visa, your FCE Pharma registration and photo identification for badge collection
- Your hotel booking and a photocopy of your passport, as Australian advice suggests carrying a copy and leaving the original in the hotel safe

First time at FCE Pharma?
- Free registration is for professionals from the pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries and sector associations, validated by company activity code (CNAE); suppliers such as packaging, machinery and ingredients firms are not eligible and can buy the organiser's Ingresso Empreendedor (Entrepreneur Ticket) instead
- Registration for 2027 was not yet open when we checked, so follow the FCE Pharma site for the opening date
- There is a dress code: flip-flops, shorts, caps and tank tops are not allowed
- The organiser does not recommend bringing anyone under 18, and a minor is admitted only after a guardian signs a liability waiver
- The fair does not issue attendance certificates, only the access badge, so keep your own records if your company needs proof of attendance
