h+h cologne, the international trade fair for creative handicraft and hobby supplies, returns to Koelnmesse in Cologne from Friday 2 to Sunday 4 April 2027, in Halls 11.2 and 11.3. Its organiser, Koelnmesse, calls it the leading trade fair for textile handicrafts: yarn, knitting needles and crochet hooks, fabrics, haberdashery, embroidery, quilting, sewing machines, beads and craft kits, shown to retailers, wholesalers, department stores, online traders and producers who come to order new ranges. The 2026 edition, held from 20 to 22 March 2026, drew around 11,500 trade visitors from 72 countries and nearly 300 exhibitors from 40 countries. Talks, trend displays, workshops and a fashion show run in event zones across the halls. It is strictly a trade fair, so visitors must show proof of trade status when they buy a ticket. - From Cologne Bonn Airport, S-Bahn line S13 reaches Cologne in about 12 minutes, according to the organiser of FILTECH, another fair at Koelnmesse
- Düsseldorf and Frankfurt airports are also linked to Köln Messe/Deutz by high speed trains, about 45 and 50 minutes away, the same source says

- The Köln Messe/Deutz station for high speed trains is directly next to the exhibition grounds, Koelnmesse says

Your three days at Koelnmesse
- The South and East entrances are open to h+h cologne visitors, and the fair fills Halls 11.2 and 11.3
- Visitor hours are 9am to 6pm on Friday and Saturday and 9am to 5pm on Sunday
- Your admission ticket comes with a free public transport ticket by separate email, valid for 2nd class travel to and from Koelnmesse in the VRS network during the fair (IC, EC and ICE trains excluded)
- Print the transport ticket in A4 or keep it on your phone, and carry photo identification with it
Deutz, the Altstadt or the station area?
- Deutz is the district around the fairgrounds and Köln Messe/Deutz station, so it keeps the morning trip shortest
- The Altstadt, the cathedral and the Hauptbahnhof area are across the Rhine, with more hotels and restaurants for evenings with suppliers
