The International Roofing Expo (IRE), which the organiser calls the largest roofing and exteriors event in North America, comes to the West Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center from Tuesday 16 to Thursday 18 February 2027. Run by Informa Markets, the show brings residential and commercial roofing contractors, home improvement contractors, distributors and manufacturers together for three days of product sourcing, hands on demonstrations, building clinics and an education programme in English and Spanish. The host city changes from year to year (San Antonio in 2025, Las Vegas in 2026), and the organiser says the 2026 show in Las Vegas drew more than 15,000 industry professionals and 700 exhibiting companies. IRE is a trade show, not open to the public, and passes are sold by the organiser, separately from your hotel. The West Hall sits at the north end of the convention centre campus, so hotels in the Convention Center District, at Resorts World and along the North Strip keep the morning trip short, while the Monorail and the free Vegas Loop link the rest of the campus. This page shows live Las Vegas hotel rates for the show dates, which you can change. Event Escapes is independent of the International Roofing Expo.

How do you get to International Roofing Expo?

From Harry Reid International Airport (LAS)

  • The organiser says the airport is under 15 minutes from the Las Vegas Convention Center
  • Taxis wait outside baggage claim at both terminals: at Terminal 1 on the east side, and at Terminal 3 on Level Zero near door 52
  • Uber and Lyft pick up inside the parking garages: on Level 2 at Terminal 1 and on the Valet Level at Terminal 3
  • Public buses run by the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada also serve the airport

Arriving at the West Hall

  • The organiser gives the address as Las Vegas Convention Center, West Hall, 300 Convention Center Drive, Las Vegas, NV 89109
  • The LVCVA says the West Hall has its own grand lobby and registration area, separate from the Central Hall
  • Set your driver or rideshare app to the West Hall rather than the main campus, as the halls are a long walk apart
  • Registration opens on Sunday 14 February from 12:00 to 17:00 and on Monday 15 February from 08:00 to 17:00, before the show floor opens

How do you get around during International Roofing Expo?

Getting to the West Hall each day

  • The Las Vegas Monorail stops at the Boingo Station at the convention centre; for the West Hall, the operator says to go through the North Hall and use the Paradise Bridge, or take the free Vegas Loop from the Central Hall
  • The LVCVA says the walk between the West Hall and the North or Central Hall can take up to 25 minutes, while the free Vegas Loop ride takes about 2 minutes
  • Vegas Loop rides within the convention centre campus are free; rides to stations off the campus need a ticket
  • During large conventions the Monorail operator says trains arrive every 4 to 5 minutes and reach the convention centre in no more than 10 minutes from anywhere on the line

Around Las Vegas

  • Monorail tickets bought at the stations are full fare; the operator sells discounted tickets online only
  • Taxis and rideshare are the usual way between the convention centre, the Strip and Downtown
  • Distances on the Strip are longer than they look, so allow extra time between resorts
  • The IRE Welcome Party, Community Service Day and NRCA events run alongside the show, so check the organiser's event list before you book evening plans

Do you need a visa for International Roofing Expo?

Visa-free / visa on arrival

  • The Visa Waiver Program lets citizens of 42 countries visit the United States for business or tourism for up to 90 days without a visa, using an approved ESTA
  • US Customs and Border Protection recommends applying for an ESTA as soon as you start preparing your travel plans
  • You must hold an e-Passport, with an embedded chip, to travel under the Visa Waiver Program

eVisa / visa required

  • If your country is not in the Visa Waiver Program you will normally need a US visitor visa from a US embassy or consulate, so check local interview wait times early
  • An ESTA approval does not guarantee entry: US Customs and Border Protection officers decide admissibility on arrival

Documents to carry

  • A passport valid for your whole stay, with your ESTA approval or visa linked to that passport
  • Your International Roofing Expo registration confirmation and badge details
  • Your hotel booking and return or onward ticket, in case the border officer asks

US entry requirements, fees and processing times change often, so verify the current rules on official US government websites or with your nearest US embassy before booking.

First time at International Roofing Expo?

  • IRE is a private trade show open to the trade only; students in a field related to the construction industry can attend
  • The exhibit hall is open 11:00 to 17:00 on Tuesday 16 and Wednesday 17 February and 11:00 to 15:00 on Thursday 18 February, with conference sessions in the mornings
  • 2027 passes start at 100 US dollars for NRCA members and 150 US dollars for non members (Expo Pass); the organiser says the Super Pass rises after 23 January
  • Cancellations must be in writing before 2 February 2027 and carry a 75 US dollar fee; after that there are no refunds, but you can send a substitute
  • Under 18s are admitted during show hours only with a children's badge and adult supervision, and not at all during move in and move out

Insider tips from repeat attendees

  • The show floor opens at 11:00 each day, so mornings are for the general session and education; plan supplier meetings for the afternoons
  • Thursday closes at 15:00, so book a late flight home only if you have nothing planned on the floor that afternoon
  • The organiser's only endorsed hotel provider is onPeak; Event Escapes is independent and shows live rates across many Las Vegas hotels, so compare before you commit
