The Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) 2027 returns to the Las Vegas Convention Center from 2 to 4 February, after its 2026 edition in Orlando. Owned by the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA), KBIS is the go-to show for kitchen and bath designers, showroom dealers, remodelers and the brands that supply them, with more than 600 exhibitors expected and over 43,000 registered visitors at the last Las Vegas edition. KBIS runs alongside the NAHB International Builders' Show as Design & Construction Week, so the two shows compete for the same rooms. For KBIS Las Vegas hotels, the Convention Center District is closest, Strip resorts on the monorail line give the widest choice, and Downtown can suit tighter budgets. Many design professionals arrive on Monday 1 February for the Design & Industry Awards. This page shows live hotel rates near the venue for your dates, so you can plan a stay around the KBIS floor and your evening commitments.

How do you get to KBIS (Kitchen & Bath Industry Show)?

Flying into Las Vegas

  • Harry Reid International (LAS) is Las Vegas's only major airport and sits a short drive from the Las Vegas Convention Center
  • Taxis and rideshare pick up from marked zones at each terminal; queues lengthen on Monday afternoon as both KBIS and IBS visitors arrive
  • If you are travelling as a design team, a pre-booked car can be simpler than separate rideshares with sample cases
  • Flights into Las Vegas fill up during Design & Construction Week, so book travel and rooms at the same time

Driving in

  • Southern California visitors usually take Interstate 15, which is busy heading into Las Vegas on the Sunday and Monday before the show
  • Most Strip resorts and convention hotels charge for parking, so check before you choose to drive
  • Once you arrive, parking at your hotel and using the monorail or rideshare is often quicker than driving to the convention centre each day
  • Allow extra time for traffic on Paradise Road and around the convention centre on show mornings

How do you get around during KBIS (Kitchen & Bath Industry Show)?

Between your hotel and the KBIS floor

  • The Las Vegas Monorail stops at the Las Vegas Convention Center station and links it to a string of resorts on the east side of the Strip
  • The Vegas Loop underground shuttle connects stations at the convention centre and some nearby resorts
  • Check the floor plan before the show to see which LVCC hall KBIS occupies, and choose the monorail, Loop or rideshare drop-off closest to it
  • Visiting the IBS floor too? Plan which halls you will see each day, as walking between them takes time

Evenings and appointments

  • Brand dinners and showroom events are spread across the Strip and beyond, so a central Strip hotel can make evening plans easier
  • Rideshare prices climb sharply at show close and after big evening events; walking to a neighbouring resort before booking can help
  • Downtown Las Vegas is further from the convention centre but has more modest hotels and a different evening scene
  • February evenings in Las Vegas are cool, so bring a jacket for outdoor waits

Do you need a visa for KBIS (Kitchen & Bath Industry Show)?

Visa-free / visa on arrival

  • Citizens of Visa Waiver Program countries, including the UK, Ireland, most EU states, Japan, South Korea, Australia and New Zealand, can attend a trade show for up to 90 days with an approved ESTA instead of a visa
  • Apply for ESTA online through the official US government site well before travel; it is usually decided within 72 hours and stays valid for two years or until your passport expires
  • Canadian citizens do not need a visa or ESTA for a short business visit like this one

eVisa / visa required

  • Most other nationalities, including India, China, Brazil, Mexico and South Africa, need a B-1/B-2 visitor visa, which involves an interview at a US embassy or consulate
  • Interview waiting times vary a lot by country and can run to months, so start as soon as you decide to attend KBIS 2027
  • If you have been refused an ESTA or are not eligible for one, you must apply for a visa instead; some nationalities also face extra US entry restrictions, so check before booking

Documents to carry

  • Bring your KBIS registration confirmation, and if you are exhibiting, a company letter describing your role at the show
  • Have your hotel booking and return travel to hand, as US border officers often ask about the purpose of your trip
  • Carry catalogues and small samples only in quantities clearly for business use, and check customs rules if shipping stand material

Entry rules change often; check current requirements on official US government sources or with your nearest US embassy before you travel.

First time at KBIS (Kitchen & Bath Industry Show)?

  • Your KBIS registration also gets you onto the IBS exhibit floor, so set aside time for both if you work across design and building
  • Education is extra: Voices From the Industry conference passes and other sessions are bought separately from the Expo Pass
  • NKBA members have been offered complimentary Expo Passes, so check membership benefits before you pay for registration
  • Book rooms from Monday 1 February if you plan to attend the Design & Industry Awards, which the organiser has moved to a new venue for 2027
  • Keep your badge with you; you will need it for both the KBIS and IBS floors

Insider tips from repeat attendees

  • Design professionals often focus on KBIS product launches on day one, so book key brand appointments before you travel
  • Try the NEXTStage programme for short design and trend sessions between meetings
  • If your team covers both KBIS and IBS, base yourselves in the Convention Center District to make it easier to switch between floors
