ProPak Asia 2027, Asia's big processing and packaging technology show, runs from 9 to 12 June 2027 at IMPACT Muang Thong Thani, just north of Bangkok. If you went before 2026, note the change: the show has moved from BITEC in Bang Na to IMPACT, so older advice about staying along Sukhumvit near BITEC no longer applies. The 2026 edition, the first at IMPACT, drew more than 80,000 visitors, and the 2027 show is co-located with Asian Paper Bangkok and LOUPE Southeast Asia, which adds to demand for rooms in the area. For ProPak Asia Bangkok hotels, the practical choice is between Muang Thong Thani itself, the Chaeng Watthana corridor a short ride away, or central Bangkok with a longer commute each day. This page shows live hotel rates near the venue for your dates, so you can weigh a room beside the halls against a central base for evening meetings.

Popular areas for attendees: Muang Thong Thani · Chaeng Watthana · Ngam Wong Wan and Nonthaburi · Sukhumvit (central Bangkok).

  • Hotels sorted by distance to IMPACT Muang Thong Thani, so you can see at a glance what is close to the ProPak Asia halls
  • Live rates for the ProPak Asia dates, with check-in and check-out editable to fit your own trip
  • Free-cancellation rates shown where the hotel offers them, so you can secure a room before plans are final
  • An itemised company invoice emailed at booking, plus a team or group quote within 24 hours via the enquiry form

Where should you eat during ProPak Asia?

Base yourself on the BTS Sukhumvit line: Asok/Phrom Phong/Thong Lo cover central dining and connect straight to BITEC (Bang Na) in ~20-25 min. Note IMPACT Muang Thong Thani is far north with no BTS -- budget a 40-60 min taxi and travel outside rush hour.

How do you get to ProPak Asia?

Flying into Bangkok

  • Suvarnabhumi (BKK) is the main long-haul gateway but lies on the opposite side of Bangkok from IMPACT, so allow for a long taxi ride across the city
  • Don Mueang (DMK), used by many regional and low-cost airlines, is much closer to Muang Thong Thani
  • Use the official public taxi queues or Grab from either airport and confirm the meter and expressway tolls before departure
  • Early June is the start of the rainy season, and afternoon downpours can slow airport traffic

Arriving at IMPACT

  • ProPak Asia moved to IMPACT Muang Thong Thani in 2026; do not follow older directions to BITEC
  • The MRT Pink Line has a branch into Muang Thong Thani, with a station at Lake Muang Thong Thani linked to the IMPACT complex
  • IMPACT is a large site with several hall groups, so check the 2027 floor plan for your hall and entrance before the first day
  • Road access into Muang Thong Thani queues at opening time, so leave early on the first morning

How do you get around during ProPak Asia?

Daily travel to ProPak Asia

  • A hotel in Muang Thong Thani removes the daily cross-city commute altogether
  • From central Bangkok, use the BTS or MRT to reach the Pink Line, or take a taxi via the expressway; road times swing widely with traffic and rain
  • Taxi and Grab queues are longest at show close, so consider leaving slightly early or a little later
  • Pack a compact umbrella for June showers between transport and the halls

Around Bangkok

  • Sukhumvit, Silom and the riverside are the main areas for dinners and client entertaining
  • The BTS and MRT are the quickest way to move around central Bangkok in the evening rush
  • If your hotel is in Muang Thong Thani, the IMPACT complex and surrounding area have restaurants for evenings without a long journey
  • Carry some cash in baht for smaller restaurants and street food

Do you need a visa for ProPak Asia?

Visa-free / visa on arrival

  • Many nationalities, including UK, EU, US, Australian and Japanese passport holders, can enter Thailand visa-exempt for short visits; the permitted length of stay has been under review, so check the current rule
  • All foreign arrivals must complete the online Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) before arriving
  • Some other nationalities can obtain a visa on arrival at the main airports; check the current list

eVisa / visa required

  • Travellers who are not visa-exempt apply through Thailand's official e-Visa system before travel
  • Exhibitors working on a stand should check with a Thai embassy whether they need a business visa
  • Start applications well before June, as processing times differ by country

Documents to carry

  • A passport valid for at least six months from arrival
  • Your ProPak Asia visitor registration confirmation and, for exhibitors, a company letter
  • Your hotel booking and return or onward ticket for immigration checks

Entry and visa rules change frequently; verify current requirements with a Thai embassy or the official Thai e-Visa and immigration websites before you book.

First time at ProPak Asia?

  • Visitor registration for 2027 opens in early 2027 on the ProPak Asia website; register in advance to save time at the entrance
  • ProPak Asia runs four days and is co-located with Asian Paper Bangkok and LOUPE Southeast Asia, so plan which zones matter to you before arriving
  • Machinery stands are large and spread out; group meetings by hall to cut walking
  • Expect heat and humidity outside and cool air-conditioning inside; dress in layers

Insider tips from repeat attendees

  • Colleagues who attended at BITEC may still suggest Bang Na hotels; for IMPACT, the north of the city is the better base
  • Don Mueang is the quicker airport for the venue if you are flying in from elsewhere in Asia
  • The final day, a Saturday, tends to be quieter for in-depth conversations with exhibitors
  • Book early if you want a room inside Muang Thong Thani, as the nearby supply is limited compared with central Bangkok

ProPak Asia travel FAQs

Which venue is hosting ProPak Asia 2027 and where should I stay?

ProPak Asia 2027 is at IMPACT Muang Thong Thani, north of Bangkok, from 9 to 12 June 2027; it moved there from BITEC in 2026. Stay in Muang Thong Thani or along Chaeng Watthana for the shortest commute, or in central Bangkok if evening meetings matter more.

Is ProPak Asia still held at BITEC?

No. The 2026 and 2027 editions are at IMPACT Muang Thong Thani, so ignore older advice built around BITEC in Bang Na.

How do I get to IMPACT Muang Thong Thani?

The MRT Pink Line has a branch into Muang Thong Thani with stations serving the IMPACT complex, and taxis and Grab are widely used. From central Bangkok, allow extra time for road traffic.

Which airport should I use for ProPak Asia?

Suvarnabhumi (BKK) handles most long-haul flights, but Don Mueang (DMK) is considerably closer to IMPACT. Compare both when booking flights.

When does ProPak Asia 2027 visitor registration open?

The organiser says visitor registration will open in early 2027 on the ProPak Asia website.

Can I change the hotel dates shown on this page?

You can change the check-in and check-out dates in the hotel search to match your own schedule, whether you are arriving early to set up a stand or staying on after the final day.
