18 Nov – 20 Nov 2026 Singapore EXPO Convention & Exhibition Centre 70,000+ attendees
The Singapore FinTech Festival 2026 runs 18-20 November at the Singapore EXPO Convention & Exhibition Centre, and it remains the largest fintech gathering anywhere: more than 70,000 policymakers, bankers, founders, investors and technologists from over 140 countries, convened with the Monetary Authority of Singapore at its core. That regulator-to-startup mix is what makes SFF different from a normal tech expo, and it is also why the week strains Singapore's hotel market: central bank delegations block-book early, side events run across Marina Bay all week, and the small cluster of hotels near the EXPO in Changi disappears first. Most attendees end up choosing between staying out east near the venue or in Marina Bay near the evening circuit, with the MRT bridging the two. This page shows live, bookable rates sorted by distance to Singapore EXPO so you can make that trade-off with current prices in front of you.
Popular areas for attendees: Marina Bay · Changi / Tanah Merah · Orchard Road.

Most conventions run out of Marina Bay Sands Expo or Singapore Expo (Changi); the picks below cluster around the Marina Bay/CBD core, a short taxi or MRT ride from either hall. Book fine dining well ahead, but hawker centres need no reservation.

Marina Bay is the default for most attendees because the evening side-event circuit concentrates there, with a direct Downtown Line ride to the venue. Staying near Expo or Tanah Merah in the east cuts the commute to minutes and suits exhibitors, while Orchard Road offers more room availability with a slightly longer MRT journey.
Singapore is already one of Asia's priciest hotel markets, and SFF week adds substantial event demand on top; expect rates well above normal November levels, particularly in Marina Bay, where premiums of 50-100 per cent over quiet weeks are common.
Three to six months ahead is wise; official delegations and bank groups block-book Marina Bay early, and the handful of hotels near the EXPO goes fast. Free-cancellation rates make early booking risk-free while your plans firm up.
Singapore Changi (SIN), which is exceptionally convenient for this event: the venue is one MRT stop from the airport station, and even a taxi is around 10 minutes. No alternative airport is relevant.
Yes, if you work anywhere near financial services, policy or enterprise technology. The MAS involvement draws central banks and regulators from dozens of countries, so the festival functions as much as a policy and partnerships forum as a product expo.
