The Singapore National Stadium seats around 55,000 under the world's largest free-standing dome, with a retractable roof and movable lower tier that reshape the bowl for different sports. The centrepiece of the Singapore Sports Hub, opened in 2014 with the world's largest free-standing dome, a 312-metre retractable roof, and movable lower-tier seating that reconfigures the bowl for football, rugby, cricket, athletics and concerts. Every seat has an individual air-cooling vent.

Food & drink at Singapore National Stadium
Inside the National Stadium the offer is kiosk-based, with light snacks and refreshments sold on the concourses during events. Most of the serious eating happens immediately outside: the adjoining Kallang Wave Mall and the Singapore Indoor Stadium next door hold a range of bars, cafés and restaurants that fans use before events.
Outside food and drink — including alcohol and bottled water — is not allowed into the stadium under the conditions of entry; empty plastic bottles are permitted and can be refilled inside, though some events prohibit them at the hirer's request.
