Zoomark, the international B2B trade show for pet food and pet care, returns to BolognaFiere for its 22nd edition from Tuesday 11 to Thursday 13 May 2027. Organised by BolognaFiere Cosmoprof, it brings together manufacturers of pet food, accessories, hygiene and care products with suppliers of raw materials, machinery and packaging, and a trade audience of pet shop owners and chains, groomers, vets, breeders, garden centre and mass market buyers, distributors and importers. The 2025 edition filled 10 halls with 1,268 exhibitors from 56 countries and drew nearly 31,000 visitors, over 64 percent from abroad, the organiser says. Zoomark is held every two years, so May 2027 is the next chance to see the show in Bologna. BolognaFiere is about 4 km from Bologna Centrale, with buses 35 and 38 to the fair, and the Marconi Express links the airport with the station in 7 minutes. Flying in: Bologna (BLQ)
- Bologna Guglielmo Marconi Airport is 8.5 km from the exhibition centre, according to BolognaFiere, and a taxi is the direct option
- The Marconi Express links the airport with Bologna Centrale in 7 minutes, with up to 8 rides an hour, according to its operator
- From Bologna Centrale, buses 35 and 38 run to the fair, stopping at the Piazza Costituzione and Viale Aldo Moro entrances
- Taxi companies listed by BolognaFiere include CO.TA.BO and C.A.T., both bookable by phone or app
By train or car
- Zoomark lists partnerships with Italo and Frecciarossa for participants travelling to Bologna by high speed train; check the organiser's hotel and travel page for the conditions
- From Bologna Centrale, take bus 35 or 38 from Piazzale Medaglie d'Oro, a taxi from the main exit, or walk about 30 minutes from the via Carracci exit, BolognaFiere says

- Drivers can use the dedicated BOLOGNA FIERA exit on the A14, or the ring road: exit 8 for the Nord and Michelino entrances, exit 7 for the Costituzione entrance and car park

Getting to BolognaFiere
- The organiser's 2027 map shows the Nord and Costituzione entrances, a separate entrance for shuttles and car parks including P1bis, P3, P6, P7, Costituzione and Michelino
- Buses 35 and 38 run from Bologna Centrale to the fair; take bus 35 or 39 back to the station, and bus 28 runs from the city centre, under 5 km away
- BolognaFiere suggests the Roger app to plan routes and buy tickets, and advises checking trambologna.it and tper.it before you travel, as tram construction is diverting some bus routes
- Opening hours for 2027 had not been published when we checked; in 2025 the show opened from 09:00 to 18:00, closing at 17:00 on the last day

Do you need a visa for Zoomark?
Visa-free / visa on arrival
- Italy is in the Schengen Area; EU, EEA and Swiss citizens travel with a passport or national ID card
- Citizens of the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, Japan and many other countries can visit the Schengen Area for business without a visa for up to 90 days in any 180 day period
- Non EU travellers are registered in the EU Entry/Exit System, fully operational since 10 April 2026, with fingerprints and a facial image taken at the border, so allow extra time at passport control
- ETIAS, the EU's planned travel authorisation for visa-exempt visitors, was not yet in operation when we checked; the EU says it will announce the start date several months ahead, so check before you fly

- Nationals of countries such as India, China, South Africa and Türkiye need a Schengen short stay (type C) visa, applied for through Italy's consulates or their appointed visa centres
- Under EU rules you can apply no earlier than six months and at least 15 days before travel; standard processing takes 15 days and can be extended to 45
- If you need an invitation letter for a visa, ask the exhibitor you are meeting or the Zoomark organisers well before your consulate appointment
