About Black Mountain Golf Club
Opened in 2007 to a Phil Ryan design and carved into rolling granite foothills west of Hua Hin, Black Mountain quickly became one of Asia's most decorated courses. It has hosted Asian Tour events, the co-sanctioned True Thailand Classic on the European Tour in 2015 and 2016, and the Royal Trophy in 2011, yet remains fully public and pay-and-play. The 18-hole championship course — part of a 27-hole complex — plays to over 7,300 yards through natural valleys with water in play and a mountain backdrop. Excellent conditioning and a testing but fair layout make it a must-play for visiting golfers.
