About Oitavos Dunes
Oitavos Dunes opened in 2001 to an Arthur Hills design that begins amid umbrella pines before opening onto raw Atlantic dunes on the edge of Cascais, west of Lisbon. It is widely regarded as one of the best links courses in continental Europe and the top course in the Lisbon region, and it hosted the European Tour's Open de Portugal four times in the 2000s. Environmentally certified and family-run, it keeps a natural, understated feel while offering genuine championship challenge whenever the sea breeze blows.
