Overview

About Citizens Bank Park

Citizens Bank Park is the home of the Philadelphia Phillies, with an official seating capacity of 42,901. Citizens Bank Park seating is spread over three main levels: the Field Level (sections 101 to 148) with the Philadelphia Insurance Club behind home plate, a middle level made up of the Pavilion (201 to 211) in right field, the Cadillac Hall of Fame Club (212 to 232) round the infield, the Arcade (233 to 237) and the Scoreboard Porch (241 to 245) in left field, and the Terrace Level, with the Pavilion Deck (301 to 310), the Terrace (312 to 333) and the Terrace Deck (412 to 434). Suites sit directly above the Field Level. The best seats for a Phillies game are the Field Level infield sections between the dugouts, and the Terrace infield is the best value. All seats are angled towards the infield.

Citizens Bank Park opened on 3 April 2004, designed by EwingCole and HOK Sport in red brick, precast concrete and granite under green roofs with a copper patina. The playing field is scooped out 23 feet below street level, so fans walk in on an open air main concourse with a view of the whole field, and the Center City skyline rises beyond the open outfield. Like Connie Mack Stadium the upper and lower decks do not line up exactly, and a 'break' near section 210 drops the right field Pavilion Deck about 20 feet closer to the field. A 52-foot lit Liberty Bell rings after every Phillies home run.

Sections

What are the seating levels at Citizens Bank Park?

Field Level101-148

The lower bowl, entered from the street level main concourse. Section 101 is in right centre field and numbers run down the right field line (101 to 107), along the first base side, behind home plate and down the third base side to the left field line and left field (140 to 148). The infield sections between the dugouts are the most sought after.

Pros: Closest to the field, with every seat angled towards the infield.

Cons: The most expensive general seats; outfield sections are a long way from home plate.

Philadelphia Insurance Club

The ballpark's most exclusive seats, between the dugouts behind home plate, with a private restaurant and lounge, in-seat wait service and full service bars. Wikipedia puts it at 1,164 seats.

Pros: The best seats in the house with premium dining included in the experience.

Cons: Sold out for season tickets and the most expensive tickets in the ballpark.

Cons: An outfield angle back towards home plate.

Cadillac Hall of Fame Club and Arcade212-237

Cons: Sold out for season tickets and priced at a premium.

Field Level baselines

108 to 114 (first base and right field line), 133 to 139 (third base and left field line)

Seats down the lines, still close to the field but at a sharper angle to home plate. Seats are angled towards the infield to help.

Tip: A good step down in price from the infield.

Field Level outfield

101 to 107 (right field), 140 to 148 (left field)

Outfield seats looking back in towards home plate, close to the bullpens and Ashburn Alley. Sections 101 to 103 and 140 to 148 open early for batting practice.

Tip: Arrive when the Left Field and Third Base Gates open to catch batting practice.

Cadillac Hall of Fame Club

212 to 232

A raised infield view from the middle level, with the club lounges behind you. The press box and broadcast booths are on this level.

Tip: Club tickets include the climate controlled lounges, useful on hot days or in the rain.

201 to 211 (right field), 233 to 237 (left field line), 241 to 245 (left field)

Middle level seats round the outfield and left field line. The right field Pavilion sits lower thanks to the break near section 210.

Terrace

312 to 333

Tip: The best value full view seats at Citizens Bank Park.

Terrace Deck and Pavilion Deck

412 to 434 and 301 to 310

The top of the upper deck and the right field upper deck: the highest and cheapest seats, with panoramic views.

Tip: There is no direct elevator access to 301 to 310 or the 400 level, so allow time for stairs.

Seat numbers

How do Citizens Bank Park seat numbers work?

The first digit of a Citizens Bank Park section tells you the level: 101 to 148 is the Field Level, 201 to 245 is the middle level (Pavilion, Cadillac Hall of Fame Club, Arcade and Scoreboard Porch), 301 to 333 is the Pavilion Deck and Terrace, and 412 to 434 is the Terrace Deck at the top. Field Level numbers start at 101 in right centre field and run down the right field line, round home plate and up the third base and left field lines to 148. The upper levels follow the same pattern from right field round to left field. Your ticket shows the section, row and seat, and the Phillies' Finding Your Seats page lists the best gate, escalator or elevator for each group of sections.

Reading a ticket: Section 322: the 3 means the Terrace Level, the lower part of the upper deck. Section 322 is behind home plate, so it gives a high, straight view down the pitcher's line. Enter by the Third Base Gate and use the escalator behind section 126 or the stairs behind section 130.

The Phillies also stage short on-field postgame concerts during the season, such as Jordan Davis and Flo Rida in 2026.
