Overview

About Narendra Modi Stadium

The Narendra Modi Stadium is the largest cricket ground on earth, a round 132,000-seat bowl with two vast tiers giving a 360-degree view. The best batting views are at the ends behind the bowler's arm, the upper tier is the best value and partly covered, and club-level and corporate blocks offer the most comfort. The sheer scale means side blocks are a long way from the pitch. It hosts India Tests, including day-night pink-ball matches, major internationals (including the 2023 ODI World Cup final) and Gujarat Titans IPL games.

The world's largest cricket stadium, a perfectly round 132,000-seat bowl designed by Populous and rebuilt on the Motera site by 2020. A pillar-free two-tier circular design gives 360-degree unobstructed views, with 11 pitches on the main square and LED floodlights integrated into the roof canopy.
