all about automation Friedrichshafen, the trade fair for industrial automation, robotics and digitalisation on Lake Constance, returns to Messe Friedrichshafen on Tuesday 2 and Wednesday 3 March 2027, in Halls B1, B2 and B3 by the West entrance. It is a compact two day show where users and decision makers from the Lake Constance region and beyond meet makers of automation components and systems, robotics providers, integrators, software and digitalisation specialists and distributors, with stands of comparable size so regional engineering firms sit alongside market leaders. The 2026 edition, held on 10 and 11 March 2026, counted 534 exhibitors and 6,850 trade visitors, up 26 percent and 21 percent on the year before. Free Talk Lounge presentations, the Future Now! Hub for AI, digitalisation and IIoT, and free snacks and drinks for trade visitors run alongside the stands. The fair is organised by Easyfairs. Friedrichshafen is a small lakeside town with Bodensee Airport beside the fairgrounds, so many visitors from further away stay in the town centre or around the lake. This page shows live hotel rates in Friedrichshafen and around Lake Constance; your ticket is registered separately with the organiser.
