Motor Bike Expo, Verona's big winter motorcycle show, returns to Veronafiere from Friday 22 to Sunday 24 January 2027. It is a public show for riders and fans as much as a date for the trade: the organiser describes eight halls of motorcycle manufacturers, custom builders, apparel, accessories and parts, with outdoor tracks for races, stunt shows, test rides and riding courses for beginners, and many of the products on the stands can be bought at the show. The 2026 edition drew 180,000 visitors over three days, 32 percent of them from outside Italy, with more than 700 exhibitors from 20 countries. Veronafiere sits on Viale del Lavoro in the south of the city, close to the Verona Sud motorway exit, and the organiser puts it at about five or six minutes by taxi from Verona Porta Nuova station. That gives you a simple choice when you book Motor Bike Expo hotels: stay near the fairground in Borgo Roma or Verona Sud for the shortest trip, or stay by Porta Nuova or in the historic centre for evenings in the old town, with a bus, taxi or the show shuttle to the halls. This page shows live hotel rates for your dates. Your Motor Bike Expo ticket is bought separately from the organiser.

Where should you eat during Motor Bike Expo?

Veronafiere sits just south of the walls; the centro storico is a flat 10-minute taxi ride (or Bus 11/12/13 to Piazza Bra) up the ring road. During Vinitaly cabs vanish at closing time, so pre-book your return car. Every table worth having is packed inside the Adige bend.

How do you get to Motor Bike Expo?

Flying in: Verona (VRN)

  • Verona Valerio Catullo Airport (VRN) is about 8 km from Veronafiere, according to the organiser, who puts the taxi ride at about 10 minutes
  • The Verona Airlink bus leaves from the arrivals exit and reaches Verona Porta Nuova station in about 15 minutes with no stops, every 20 minutes at peak times and every 40 minutes at other times, according to Trenitalia
  • Veronafiere says that during exhibitions a shuttle bus links the exhibition centre with the airport by way of the railway station; check that it is running for Motor Bike Expo before you rely on it
  • If flights to Verona do not suit you, the organiser notes that Verona sits on the Turin, Milan, Verona and Trieste railway, so Milan and Venice are other gateways by train

By train, car or motorcycle

  • Verona Porta Nuova station is on the Munich, Brenner, Verona, Bologna, Florence and Rome line and the Turin, Milan, Verona and Trieste line, according to the organiser
  • From the A4 Milan to Venice motorway, leave at Verona Sud and follow the signs for Fiera, about two to three minutes away; from the A22 Brenner to Modena motorway, leave at Verona Nord, then allow about 10 to 15 minutes
  • Riders have their own entrance, Gate G on Via Roveggia, with free motorcycle parking and a free coat check for helmets and jackets
  • Car parks sit around the fairground; in 2026 the organiser listed P3, P4 Multipiano and P7 Re Teodorico, plus a free Saturday and Sunday shuttle from the Genovesa car park every 20 minutes

How do you get around during Motor Bike Expo?

Getting to Veronafiere each day

  • The organiser says a free shuttle bus leaves Verona Porta Nuova station for the fair about every 20 minutes
  • City buses stop on Viale del Lavoro, right in front of the exhibition centre entrance; the organiser gives about 8 to 9 minutes for the bus ride from the station
  • Taxis wait at the station's main entrance, and the organiser puts the ride to the fair at about 5 to 6 minutes
  • On foot from the station, the organiser's route runs by Piazza XXV Aprile, Viale dal Cero, Via Statale 12 and Via del Piave to Viale del Lavoro

Where to stay in Verona

  • Borgo Roma and Verona Sud are closest to the halls and suit exhibitors with early starts; check each hotel's position on the map before you book
  • Hotels around Porta Nuova put the airport bus, the trains and the show shuttle on your doorstep
  • The historic centre around the Arena and Piazza Bra has the widest choice of restaurants for the evening, with a bus or taxi to Viale del Lavoro in the morning
  • Fieragricola TECH follows at Veronafiere on 27 and 28 January 2027, so if you are staying on in Verona check hotel availability for that week too

Do you need a visa for Motor Bike Expo?

Visa-free / visa on arrival

  • Italy is in the Schengen Area; EU, EEA and Swiss citizens travel with a passport or national ID card
  • Citizens of the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, Japan and many other countries can visit the Schengen Area without a visa for up to 90 days in any 180 day period
  • Non EU travellers are registered in the EU Entry/Exit System, fully operational since 10 April 2026, with fingerprints and a facial image taken at the border, so allow extra time at passport control
  • ETIAS, the EU's planned travel authorisation for visa-exempt visitors, was not yet in operation when we checked; the EU says it will announce the start date several months ahead, so check before you fly

eVisa / visa required

  • Nationals of countries such as India, China, South Africa and Türkiye need a Schengen short stay (type C) visa, applied for through Italy's consulates or their appointed visa centres
  • Under EU rules you can apply no earlier than six months and at least 15 days before travel; standard processing takes 15 days and can be extended to 45
  • If you are exhibiting and need an invitation letter for your visa application, ask the organiser well before your consulate appointment

Documents to carry

  • A passport valid for at least three months beyond your planned departure from the Schengen Area
  • Your Motor Bike Expo ticket for each day you visit, plus ID and a valid membership card if you are using a club reduction
  • Hotel booking and return travel details, plus copies of your visa supporting documents and travel medical insurance if you need a visa

Entry and visa rules change; check current requirements with the Italian embassy or consulate, or official EU sources, before you book.

First time at Motor Bike Expo?

  • Buy your ticket online before you travel: the organiser says an online ticket takes you straight in at the entrance, and the Veronafiere ticket offices only sell tickets for the same day
  • Every ticket is for one day only, with no multi day pass and no re-entry once you leave the fairground, so plan a full day for each ticket
  • In 2026 the show was open from 09:00 to 19:00 each day; the organiser had not published the 2027 hours when we checked
  • Children up to 7 go in free, and reduced tickets for ages 8 to 13, over 65s and FMI, H.O.G. and Vespa Club d'Italia members are sold only at the Veronafiere ticket offices
  • Dogs are allowed on a lead no longer than 80 cm, with a muzzle for large dogs, but not in the conference rooms

Insider tips from repeat attendees

  • If you ride in, use Gate G on Via Roveggia: the motorcycle parking and the helmet and jacket coat check there are both free
  • Many products on the stands can be bought at the show, which the organiser says makes it a regular stop for riders getting ready for the new season, so leave room in your luggage
  • We are independent and not affiliated with Motor Bike Expo or Veronafiere; you book a named hotel directly with us at the rate shown
