PACK EXPO Las Vegas, the packaging and processing show produced by PMMI, returns to the Las Vegas Convention Center from Monday 27 to Wednesday 29 September 2027. The organiser expects 2,300 exhibitors and more than 30,000 industry professionals across the West, North, Central and South Lower Halls, with over 100 free education sessions on the show floor. It is a biennial show and separate from PACK EXPO International, which is held in Chicago, and from PACK EXPO East in Philadelphia, so check you are planning for the Las Vegas edition. How do you get to PACK EXPO Las Vegas?
From Harry Reid International (LAS)
- The airport sits just off the south end of the Strip, and most Strip and Convention Center hotels are a 10-25 minute drive in normal traffic
- Rideshare pickup is from designated garage areas at both terminals; on busy arrival days expect queues and surge pricing
- Taxis charge zoned or metered fares to the Strip and Convention Center area; the ride is short, but arrival day traffic can double journey times
- RTC public buses serve the Strip corridor cheaply but slowly: fine off peak, hard work with luggage
By road from Southern California
- Many visitors from California drive in on the I-15 from Los Angeles, roughly four to five hours in good conditions
- Parking at the Las Vegas Convention Center is limited and paid; if you drive, choose a hotel with included or validated parking
- Some attendees look at nearby regional airports when LAS fares spike, but for most travellers LAS remains the only practical option
How do you get around during PACK EXPO Las Vegas?
Getting to the LVCC each day
- The Las Vegas Monorail stops directly at the Convention Center and connects to Strip resorts on the east side; the organiser offers a discounted Monorail pass you can add to your badge
- The Vegas Loop links the LVCC with Resorts World, Encore and Westgate, and the LVCC Loop shuttles attendees between the West, Central and South Halls underground
- The organiser runs a complimentary shuttle between its official hotels and the convention centre; if you book independently, plan on the Monorail, rideshare or walking
- Walking from Westgate or nearby Convention Center district hotels is often fastest at the morning peak
Around Las Vegas
- Distances deceive: Strip blocks are enormous, and a short walk between resorts can take 25 minutes indoors and out
- The organiser notes you will not need to rent a car in Las Vegas, as the Monorail, Loop, rideshare and taxis cover the main routes
- Traffic on Las Vegas Blvd and Paradise Rd builds at show close, so leave extra time for any cross town car journey
