The one every fan wants to tick off. The 2027 Monaco Grand Prix makes history twice over: the Automobile Club de Monaco has confirmed the first-ever Sprint weekend in the Principality, and a four-day format running 3–6 June. Casino Square, the tunnel, the harbour — nothing else in sport looks like this.
At 3.337 km, Monte Carlo is the shortest and slowest circuit in Formula 1 — and the most demanding. Barriers line every metre from Sainte Dévote up to Casino Square, down through the tunnel to the harbour chicane, the Swimming Pool and La Rascasse. Overtaking is scarce, which makes qualifying on Saturday afternoon the most important session of the weekend and track position everything on Sunday.

Tickets are sold by the Automobile Club de Monaco. Monaco sells by the day rather than as a single weekend pass, with Friday the cheapest day and Sunday race day the most expensive. The harbour grandstands (K, L, O, N, P, T) and Casino Square (B) are the classic picks and sell first.

Using the most recent official reseller price lists as the guide: 3-day general admission on the Rocher hillside ran about €250, and Sunday grandstand tickets ranged from roughly £239 (X1/X2 on the main straight) through £415–465 (K, L, O, T) to £665 for the top B Gold seats at Casino Square, with single-day Friday tickets far cheaper. 2027 prices are set by the ACM — treat all figures as guides.

Getting there & where to stay
Transport
Most visitors base in Nice and take the train: the TER from Nice-Ville to Monaco-Monte-Carlo takes about 22 minutes and runs every 15–30 minutes, with extra services on race weekend. Driving into the Principality is strongly discouraged — roads close and parking is essentially unavailable. Helicopter transfers from Nice Airport exist for the full Monaco experience.
