Full detailAbout 3Arena
The 3Arena holds about 13,000 for a fully standing show or around 9,000 fully seated. The floor is flat and can be standing general admission or seated on retractable platforms, wrapped by a tiered bowl of blocks that rises steeply for good sightlines. The best concert views come from the front of the floor and the lower blocks facing an end stage, while the highest back rows and behind-stage sections sit far from the action. Ireland's flagship indoor arena, it hosts major concerts, comedy and family shows.
Standing on the site of the former Point Theatre in Dublin's docklands, the venue was rebuilt and reopened as The O2 in 2008 before being rebranded 3Arena in 2014, retaining part of the original brick facade of the historic Point Depot. It is a compact, steeply tiered arena that produces a warm, intimate atmosphere for a room of its size.

Getting there
Transport
The Luas Red Line tram terminates at The Point stop directly outside the arena, running straight from the city centre and Connolly and Heuston stations. It is a walkable distance along the quays from the centre, and event parking in the docklands is limited, so the tram is the easiest option.
The area
The 3Arena sits on North Wall Quay in the regenerated Dublin Docklands, close to the convention centre and the modern bars and restaurants of the Docklands and the nearby EPIC museum. The city centre and Temple Bar are a short tram ride or riverside walk away.
