It is the 24th edition of Informa Markets' international pharmaceutical exhibition in Japan, held alongside Pharma IT and Digital Health Expo and Medtec Japan, and for 2027 the organiser is expanding into all four East Halls (1 to 4). How do you get to CPHI Japan?
From Haneda Airport (HND)
- Tokyo Big Sight says it is about 25 minutes from Haneda by airport bus, making Haneda the more convenient airport for the show
- Airport Limousine buses run between Haneda and Tokyo Big Sight; the venue's access page links to the timetable and reservations
- By train, travel into central Tokyo and change to the Yurikamome at Shimbashi or to the Rinkai Line for Kokusai-Tenjijo
- Taxis from Haneda to the bay area are straightforward but cost considerably more than the bus or train
From Narita Airport (NRT)
- Tokyo Big Sight gives about 60 minutes from Narita by airport bus, depending on traffic
- Airport Limousine buses also run between Narita and Tokyo Big Sight; book or check the timetable through the venue's access page
- Express trains into central Tokyo are the alternative, then onward by Yurikamome or Rinkai Line
- If you have a choice of flights, Haneda usually saves time for this venue

Getting to Tokyo Big Sight daily
- The Yurikamome stops at Tokyo Big Sight station, which the venue puts about 3 minutes' walk from the building; the line runs from Shimbashi through Shiodome and Odaiba to Toyosu
- The Rinkai Line stops at Kokusai-Tenjijo, about 7 minutes' walk from the venue; the line runs from Osaki to Shin-kiba
- CPHI Japan uses the East Halls, so allow a few extra minutes inside the building from the station exits
- Both lines get busy around opening at 10:00 and closing at 17:00, so leave a little earlier or later if you can
Around Tokyo
- Transport IC cards such as Suica or PASMO work on the Yurikamome, the Rinkai Line and most Tokyo trains and buses
- Tokyo Big Sight also lists BRT and Toei bus routes, and a water bus to Ariake Terminal about 2 minutes' walk from the venue
- Shimbashi, Shiodome and Ginza are the closest central districts for business dinners after the show
- Trains are punctual and taxis are clean and reliable; tipping is not expected
